Had a blast playing it with an old friend. It's less expensive than most shooters and is great fun to play with family and friends.

This is HANDS DOWN the greatest fps game I have ever played. Elegant. Subtle. Action packed. The environment is well put together and facilitates a dynamic combat environment.

This is less a game and more an interactive horror experience. This is avant garde gaming. In its current state, the game is more than payable despite what an earlier review says. However, it is not what is advertised. It's more. Upon entering a match, you will find yourself behind a disembodied automatic rifle with the magazine (a separate asset as expected) loaded into the weapon tilted about 10 degrees on its horizontal axis. The rifle will immediately discharge upon entering the match. Turn your volume down before you start. The single environment available is a tiny stretch of road blocked by overturned vehicles. In the center is a truck. The houses on either side of the road are fully explorable but contain nothing. It is bleak and unsettling. The other player will mirror your posture despite moving of their own accord. You will never see his face. When you click your mouse button to fire upon him, the weapon will wait just a moment and then empty the entire magazine in your desired direction. Your bullet casings will fly horizontally from the right side of the rifle and disappear without falling at all. You must reload after each time you fire. There is an animation for this. When you kill your opponent, there is no fanfare, and everything freezes. The host must press R to return both players to their starting positions. This game is incredible. It is confusing and creepy and had me questioning the intent of the developer. Have game engine updates rendered a once-passable indie shooter a broken mess? Or is the broken mess by design? Either way, it's worth the $9.98 to play it with a friend.
