This game is a fun take on Texas Hold'em where you get rewarded for 'skillful' cheating. However your AI opponents are totally braindead and are literally giving their chips away with moronic decisions every hand which greatly reduces the challenge and the fun. This also applies even at the final stage of the game, the $10,000,000 buy-in tournament, where you would expect the opponents (who are supposed to also be cheaters) to put up some fight. Instead I completely steamrolled the table and don't think I actually lost a single hand in eliminating the 6 players. With some improvements I could recommend this game.

This game is really fun! I am notoriously bad at poker, but the tooltips are very helpful and the starting table is graciously low stakes to start. In addition, the "Cheat" mechanic rewarding calling your opponents' bluffs to play game-altering cards and bringing-in the deck-building aspect was a welcome buff. This also had me searching the map for extra cards and cash to spend at the store to add more cheat cards to my arsenal. This resulted in one of my favorite moments- walking up to what looked like the edge of the map, thinking i might fall or float-off of a cliff, when instead I was able to keep walking over the horizon of the spherical planetoid! Going further, I ventured out into the dark, away from the lights of the gas station. I turned-off my flashlight. The game captured perfectly the feeling of going out into the night in a place with low light-pollution where you can still see the silhouette of the landscape around you, but not the details, and it's still pitch black, but the night sky is lit up with a million stars in the gorgeous sky[box]. Did not expect to have such a beautiful human experience moment while playing this card game, but here I am! The tunes on the radio also slam and the DJ is clearly having fun, which adds some chuckles and in-universe hints and immersion. Also love the retro-future aesthetic and card art. Highly recommend!
