I feel like this game has the potential to be one of the best pawn shop games out there. Unfortunately, there are many kinks that need to be worked out. Below are some of my biggest complaints. This game needs a way to save manually. I have no idea how this game saves progress. Every time I quit the game I'm wondering how far back it'll set me. The alien invasion game mode resets it's progress every time you close the game. The repair machine is extremely buggy between play sessions. There should also be a way to have multiple repair machines. The game runs pretty poorly for what it is. I'll add on to this review if I think of anything else.

so i love the idea of this game but the walking system is really sensitive, and for some reason the screen has been shaking violently until i jump for some reason i watched a play through and would love to play it but the bug is pretty debilitating

I feel like there should be more to do, or add new aliens and things to sell, or other things that happen that are expenses that pop up, for example... there could be a fire at the store or something breaks that is more of a surprise expense, this will be another thing to help make sure you are making the best decisions possible when selling and buying. Besides that I love this game, it got a bit boring after hitting 3 million and buying all the upgrades.

I find it quite surprising (at least as far as I know) there aren't any games like this except maybe one. Games where the player gets to set up their own pawn shop. This one is currently in early access and already looks promising (at least if you're into that kind of game). I really hope developers will continue to work on it and keep giving it love. Bugs I came across: -When I started the day with an item fixed, and took that item, then restarted that day for whatever reason (quit to menu then loaded the most recent save, the start of that day), that fixed item is no longer fixed - it's as if it was put it into the fixing machine now, it got "un-fixed". - Clients don't go straight to the counter but stop bit to the left (outside of the "customer stats detector" range), I suspect it's because I repositioned the item displays and for some reason it screws up with the pathfinding. - I'm not 100% sure how it happened, but I'm stunlocked. When I load the game, the character stands in place and doesn't react to my inputs at all, but I can see the repair-machine moving, working... but I can't do anything. Can't move my mouse, jump, move the character at all, I'm stunlocked. EDIT: I restarted the game and verified the game's files. After it, the load took a while, but the game works again, I have no idea why this happened. Here's a couple suggestions that I think will make the game even better. I don't know if those will be noticed, considered, and potentially implemented, but well, there we go: - Adding "controls" in the menu. - Make multiple game slots, so that one steam account can have more than just 1 game slate at a time, in case someone wants to do a new run without erasing the previous one, or there's a situation where multiple people use the same device. - Make it so you can equip some of the artifacts (armor, helmet, boots & gun at least) for extra damage/HP/movement speed and some kind of buffs. - Make it so at some point, aside of thieves, there are also robbers. A wave or waves of enemies, coming to attack you in attempt to steal your items. (Perhaps occurance happening rarely, or only on higher difficulty settings.) - Make it possible to hire some staff for your establishment. If someone would like, make it possible to hire people to either help you defend your shop during a robber assult, or hire someone to bash people who steal if alarm has triggered, mayb someone refueling drinks. Someone entertaining customers perhaps, increasing a chance to get a better offer, etc.) - Difficulty settings perhaps. (Impacting average greed of customers, stealth or speed of thieves, frequency and/or size of robberies.) - Player character customization perhaps.

That's a nice, chill game, inspired by popular TV shows Pawn Stars and Storage Wars. The gameplay is quite refreshing with the heists (FPS phases). Got softlocked in the shooting mini game, quit back to menu only to have the game try to force me back into the shooting mini game which I can no longer afford and when I click no I am unable to move my character at all, softlocking my entire save file.

New concept for the “trading simulater genre” over all nice little game, but still needs some fixing. During my playtime, I fell through the floor 2 times and had to restart. Will keep an eye on the game.

Going back and forth between clicking and typing numbers got tedious when doing deals Waiting a full day or two to repair seemed too restrictive, and the upgrade only gets you down to one day for everything instead of instant/one-day repairs. Names like "Blip Blop" and "Fart" felt juvenile and I was taken by surprise when I got an item sold to me that looked like a big dick. Couldn't go back to the auction planet even though I kept getting notifications that I unlocked new planets. Shooting missions were not fun or lucrative. I just played the second one and died on the last enemy - not only do you lose the 12K entry, you lose another large chunk of money, AND YOUR ENTIRE INVENTORY. That is a ridiculous penalty for something that doesn't net you as much as the base game (at least early on). As soon as that happened I closed out. Losing your entire inventory is almost never a good addition to a game. There is only one real upgrade and it's the repair bench - everything else is cosmetic. Overall there is a pretty big lack of communication to the player and things aren't streamlined enough to be easy to figure out from intuitive play. The game leans SO hard into trying to have that Rick and Morty quirkyness but it just falls short and most of the customer names feel forced/dumb. Other than that, basic alpha/beta issues - pathing, logic, etc.. Quick suggestions - Let us buy another repair bench Once you repair an item have a tooltip appear when you're being sold something so you know what you need to repair it and if costs are worth it. Let players leave the auction planet if they're out of money. I don't want to sit through auctions I can't bid on. Rework the missions with some kind of difficulty indicator (and potentially with scale but I didn't make it that far). Mission 1 has one enemy per room and they do basically no damage. Mission two has multiple enemies in each room and each room also has an enemy that does that does 10 damage every hit. If I remember there were 10 total including the new enemies that do way more damage. That's a pretty unpredictable jump and losing my entire inventory and about 30k on top of that because I didn't get the first gun upgrade for the second level just seems unreasonable. More upgrades and separate things that are an upgrade from things that are cosmetic. Better tooltips - it makes no sense that the "Repair Bench Durability" upgrade tooltip says "Improve Repair Bench Durability" (there's no indicator for durability anywhere in the bench UI - I don't even know what the upgrade does or what durability is/means) but each of the repair items you can get from the shop have 1-2 paragraphs of full fuckin lore. I don't need to know the history of the Squish Tube. I need to know what the fuck Repair Bench Durability means. All in all I was equally annoyed as I was entertained. I hope they get this right. There is so much potential and I will keep my eye on it.
