It's worth it's price for the experience it gives you.
(I played for over 4 hours only cause I like to take my time in games. It's not about rushing to complete.)

I thought the storyline was really good! Definitely had the creepy feel like all other of Emika games. It had some jump scares, but not as many as others. I thought it was really good and enjoyed following the story to figure out the entire plot! Definitely recommend it to others!

For a "psychological thriller-drama focused on atmosphere and narrative" it's still spookier than a lot other games which try hard to be horror. Actually I would say it has a lot of typical EMIKA elements in it. What I appreciated the most is, that it's a rare specimen of horror games with a proper ending, not just a [spoiler] it was all on your head/you're dead [/spoiler] type.

Love the style of this game! It had everything - walking sim, spectacular music, amazing jump scares, and a really really good story. I couldn't believe how cheap this game was for everything you get. Sooo worth it, check it out!

Message behind the game? Good. Execution? Meh.
There are a lot of plot holes in the story, the jump scares were predictable and not creative, and some parts of the story felt very unnecessary. I do like that it touched on some dark themes, though. The game feels more like an experiment by the devs rather than a polished, complete game.

Honestly I was somewhat let down with this one, The story wasn't bad but it felt pretty slow paced and lacked in the unsettling atmosphere I'm used to in other Emika games, maybe it's just me. The graphics are good, the story was okay, I would still recommend checking this one out just don't expect the same feel from other games from this dev

Great atmosphere, weak execution
The visuals and mood are solid, but Piece of Me feels more like a demo than a full game. The scares are predictable, the story doesn’t go anywhere, and it ends just when it starts getting interesting. Fans of Emika Games might still want to try it, but it’s hard to recommend overall.
