I love tower defence but I think this game is too simple and has some issues as well. The enemies spawn on the sides of the map and walk straight towards the camp, your units also spawn into one of the two portals (random) and walk towards the enemy spawns. This is my first tower defence where you spam units and towers as soon as the cooldown finishes and overwhelm the enemy by sheer amount of friendly mobs. I personally don't like that there isn't much strategy involved as every level is beat by spamming all of my units. I liked that there were different designs for levels (but mostly was the grasslands) just would've loved for it to matter. As well as all the enemies don't feel distinct enough even though they looked different. I feel like adding more levels wouldn't do much as the core gameplay loop isn't satisfying enough.
Very minimal amount of towers (only three) and you cannot upgrade them. Every upgrade for the units and powers are very shallow, just a +1 to their stats. Why does the healer's damage increase with its upgrade? Doesn't make much sense to me.
I would say it is a great start but definitely needs a lot more work to be fun.
Also note for the developer if you are still maintaining your game: I had a glitch in the first levels where after max upgrading the wizard, it would give me the option to unlock another character by clicking on the wizard but it would actually do nothing instead.
