Bought the game because it seemed like a chill, calming VN and I liked Kokoro in the demo, but fucking hell have I become attached to Toru and Kokoro. I loved seeing their relationship grow and them gradually open up to each other over the course of the two weeks. [spoiler] Having gotten the good ending for Kokoro and and checking the guides after, really sad there isn't an ending where Toru lives, but I still found the ending quite sweet. Should probably stop reading stuff with terminally ill characters ): [/Spoiler]

Kurumi is my favorite character because she has the cutest design and behaves/talks/thinks exactly like me in so many ways. But all 4 characters have at least a few things about them that make them relatable. And even though some of the endings might be sad, they still have uplifting lessons to make them worth remembering.

** I only played the base game long enough to get the true ending and was pretty satisfied with that experience. For anyone who wants to get this game, I would tell them that it is neither truly romantic nor lewd if that is what you are coming to this game for. This is ultimately a wholesome game about people with various psychological or physical problems helping each other and becoming friends**
Pros:
-Chill vibes, sad story, and focused on being cute.
-Not lewd despite how people might associate that with the gothic lolita fashion and moe art style.
-Characters are adults and the game does try reinforce this. I don't want to spoil it, but Kurumi is handled pretty well.
-Gameplay is minimum with just enough gameplay to provide minimum sense of discovery (making new hookah mixes), change the pace of reading (changing coals), and to provide optional toggles to improve the experience (adjusting the lighting/music of the shop)
-The ability to change the colors of the UI and music at any time is an amazing feature I wish were in more story-heavy games.
Negatives:
-Writing is solid enough for what it is, but it isn't anything ground-breaking.
-It is just a couple of hours to play (even to completion). Its enough for me, but definitely isn't justifiable for some people.
-No romance and almost no fanservice can be seen as a negative for some people. You really should only get this game if you are looking for vibes and to feel something.

Really enjoyable, bittersweetly heartwarming and in some ways inspiring (or even slightly therapeutic) experience
Narrative part contains stories of four characters with their own personal struggles in their lives. These stories move around such topics as development of individuality, self-acceptance, coping with PTSD, family issues and finding your place in society. Despite all differences, they all are have one thing in common, that all of them need someone to give a guidance and support to help them to get through those difficulties. However, outcomes of these guides differ depending on player choices when they are present
Gameplay part contains some minigames (mixing blends, posting a flavor of the day, hookah temperature maintenance) which are mostly meaningless but work pretty well for immersion
Sound and UI designs are made with really high quality which definitely conveys an atmosphere
Thus I would like to give this VN 10 walnuts out of 10
