Interesting premise let down by its short length and failure to create a particularly scary or spooky atmosphere because of lots of cut scenes breaking the pacing and delivery of the story. What game play sections there are, are ruined by a sanity countdown which adds little tension to the game because the refill items are so common it might as well not be there.
The four different graphics options is nice but, using the default one I couldn't make out much of the game which may have lessened the horror aspect of the game, can't be scared of what you can't see.
After finishing the game I restarted it to see if there was an option of not letting him in as per the game's title but the game doesn't let you do this and waits until you do.

Really like the game.. the story, the music, the overall vibe, all of it. This game is similar to Wretched Depths, Paratopic, Mouthwashing, Alan Wake even.
I'm not saying that it isn't worth $4.99 USD, just that there are games similar to this out there for free. It's kind of a short game and perhaps even one of the OGs of the genre. If Mouthwashing goes for $15 USD, I'd say this one is just as good just not as long.
I hope the developer makes more like this and I'm happy to have played it.
