Hello I have played every kingdom rush and this one is very good for the first and I highly recomend it. There are many cool heroes. The gameplay is very good, although the bomb tower is basically useless, except agains't spiders, and the mage tower is the most powerful tower. It has challenging levels and bosses and I have 237 hours currently so it is really good, it isn't too hard and I found it very relaxing. You can play it on harder settings of course. Compared to the rest this one is my second favorite out of them all.

It's a fun and charming Tower Defense. The four towers are fun and interesting. There are barely any balancing issues, as they play their own roles and all upgrade paths are very powerful. The enemies are also fun to deal with. Especially when two or more paths on the map have separate enemy types with their own strengths and weaknesses. That you then have to place towers strategically to deal with. It took me 40.5 Hours to complete and I enjoyed most of it quite a bit. Though it did get a little bit frustrating at times when it got very difficult. Which it actually did at times. This game gets deceptively difficult on the elite levels and boss fights. But playing it through on veteran was light and breezy until the last level that got almost nonsensically chaotic towards the end. I was able to finish most levels within three tries and then there where two levels I had to try more than five times. It's fun and deceptively challenging at times. And if you're looking to just chill with a fun tower defense, Kingdom Rush has got your back. Overall - 7/10 If you like tower defense, I am confident you'll like Kingdom Rush.

You might disagree, but art style alone makes this game majestic. Really good game made with heart and dedication, not a thing one sees very often with the current indie situation and obsession with the market.
