Interesting spacey roguelite game, with many fun features (baby drones, leaderboard, bosses). The co-op mode is easy to set up and is really fun to play, especially when you revive a friend or get revived, it becomes an fascinating experience of team-spirit.
Looking forward to the coming updates.

I wonder how I could have missed this amazing game until now!
Awesome graphics & visuals, music & sounds, very intuitive gameplay.
The game is still in EA and devs are constantly adding new things like Co-op on their last update.
It runs on every PC and has demo to try, don't hesitate to buy it today.
Highly recommend!!! Support indie devs!

Roboom is a fun mix of strategy and chaos. The bomb-themed mechanics are unique and satisfying, especially when you pull off clever moves. While the sprawling hub and occasional auto-aim quirks can be a bit frustrating, the constant updates—like co-op mode—show the developers are listening and improving. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good time if you’re into quirky, explosive fun

This is a very entertaining roguelike - I play this genre A LOT and often games can overshoot the difficulty curve, but Roboom is in that sweet spot. It's not easy, but it also guides you towards success if you keep struggling. Gameplay is fast paced and fun, I would recommend.

Roboom: In-Depth Review
Roboom is an action-roguelike game developed and published by an indie game studio. The full version has finally been released on Steam, and having spent 20 hours on the demo version, I'm excited to share my insights and experiences with you.
Gameplay Mechanics
Roboom offers a fast-paced and strategically deep gameplay experience. Players control robot characters with various abilities, progressing through dungeons and battling randomly generated enemy groups. Each run is unique, significantly enhancing the game's replay value.
Pros:
Variety of Weapons and Abilities: The game features a wide array of weapon and ability combinations. You can try a different strategy in every new run.
Challenging Enemies and Bosses: The boss fights at the end of dungeons are highly satisfying and challenging, requiring you to find the right strategy to succeed.
Randomly Generated Maps: The random map generation ensures that each game offers a unique experience, preventing the gameplay from becoming monotonous.
Cons:
Learning Curve: The game can be quite challenging for newcomers. It's possible to die many times initially, which might be discouraging for some players.
Repetitive Elements: Despite the random generation, some game elements can start to feel repetitive after a while.
Graphics and Sound Design
Roboom's visual design is impressive. The colorful and vibrant graphics reflect the game's energy and pace. Character and enemy designs are particularly detailed and unique. The sound design complements the atmosphere, with music that raises adrenaline levels during dungeon exploration and increases tension during combat.
Demo Experience
Having played the demo version for 20 hours, I find the new content and improvements in the full version very satisfying. The refinement of certain mechanics from the demo results in a more balanced and fluid gaming experience in the full version. Additionally, the new characters and abilities introduced in the full version add fresh dynamics to the game.
Conclusion
Roboom delivers a solid experience in the action-roguelike genre. With its fast-paced combat, strategic depth, and high replayability, it is sure to please fans of the genre. Although there is a challenging learning curve for newcomers, overcoming this difficulty reveals the game's depth and enjoyment.
If you're looking for an innovative and challenging game in the action-roguelike genre, Roboom is definitely worth a try. My 20-hour experience with the demo version is a testament to the depth and fun the full version offers. Therefore, I highly recommend giving Roboom a chance.

What a fun little surprise.
I think they went a little too hard on the lore and story, which I assume nobody is really interested in.
But the gameplay is pretty awesome. There are lots of fun combos and weapons.
