I LOVED Buggos, so Praise Dead was a no brainer (sorry) for me. It kills me (sorry again) to give anything by Intrepid Marmot a negative review. I would like to say that this "Do not recommend" just barely edges out a "recommend" from me. I think that there is fun to be had here, but it wasn't for me. Much like Buggos, Intrepid Marmot really nailed the art/aesthetic. The ability to customize each of your minions with ill-gotten organs, outfit them with different weapons, and armors is a nice system, but I don't like it nearly as much as I liked the Evolution Tree in Buggos. It feels way more random, and for me didn't work as well. My biggest gripe is the actual auto-battles. I was hoping to play as a necromancer who could customize his minions, and send them out over a map similar to Buggos. Watching my minions battle enemies in a single-file line was just not satisfying for me at all. The battles should be the most fun part, but they're just kinda boring. The auto-battler part is fine, it's the format/layout (single-file) that just isn't for me, and the reason for my "do not recommend". I'm sorry, Intrepid Marmot! I love you! Please take me back, baby!
