good game ,,very simple and easy to understand the basic game,,waiting new season unlock bigger map

Good fight and nice graphics< Beath them all

The reason anyone gives this game bad reviews, hasn't put in the time. They say it is a repeat game. Once you get to the later levels the minions get a lot harder to fight. Their moves are a lot faster and the amount of enemies doubles. Knowing what class you are good at will really allow you to accomplish what you need to do and the combos you can pull off before you get over whelmed. As someone who at one point thought the same thing, until i got farther into the game. Even the bosses that you fought before, when going back to replay them at higher levels. You need to be a pro with your class or have the right armor set to fight them. Which makes the game very interesting, especially when i unlock more of the map. Excited to see more bosses and different enemies. So far i have 113 hours into this game and still have most of the map to unlock. It has been my go to game when i want to game for 30 mins - 1 hour and still feel like I did a lot. Then game is a perfect side scrolling game that allows me to pickup a quick game for i do have a busy schedule. On my days off I will even find myself playing at least for 1 hour - 2 hours. I also love a game that lets me do full cosmetics. Making spend most the time trying to make my self look good lol. I just reached MAX level for the Pyro class after 113 hours but i can assume others can get it done faster. I cant wait to try out the others, and possibly see what this new weapon they will bring into the game. I 100% think if you like side scrolling games, grab this or wait until it becomes free. But if you wait you'll miss out on all the cosmetics that you wont be able to obtain when the game drops. Either or feel free to leave comments or questions and ill answer them. I want more people to play this game and not leave negative reviews on a game that they only but in 20 hours or less in.

Even as an early access, it is well worth it's money. I've been looking for a proper beat em up with progression and rpg elements for years now and this fills that nieche perfectly. As of me writing this review, nothing is locked behind mtx and the base game and systems seem to be perfect for that endless grind and progression as well as satisfying beat em up gameplay that's been missing for gaming for so long. My only gripe with the game is how there's no combo counter to push those endless combos on enemies and bosses.

Really want to like this game, but I find it more frustrating and a chore to play than fun. Overall the idea and gameplay is fun, but when you start getting into higher difficulties its just such a fake difficulty that they put in the game and it ruins it entirely. The "difficulty" comes from larger hordes of enemies at once with less ability to stun, or staggering their attacks just enough you have to constantly dodge. I don't know how many times Ive had a huge group of enemies in a combo, then take them into the air just to get hit and a huge chunk of health taken just because I missed one or 2 in my combo and they attack me while I am in the air juggling enemies and have no chance to dodge. I want to like this game but once I got to danger level 5, maybe a little even in 4, its just such a chore.

I would like a crafting mechanic where you could at least create decent equipment instead of relying on RGN to give you anything worthwhile. Beyond that, the game is a solid ode to the side scrolling beat-'em-up's from back in the day.

I've had a lot of fun with Towerborne. The beat em' up mechanics are very good and the loot is simple but varied. All of the classes are unique enough that it's a different experience playing each. Stoic did an incredible job with The Banner Saga and so far they've been doing just as well with this game. If you are a fan of beat em' ups, action rpgs and grinding for loot, or just want something that's fun, check this out. It's the perfect game to play when you want something simple to play but you'd also prefer it to be a deeper experience when you want.

It's okay, this is one of those ones where you wish steam had the "meh" ranking option. Core gameplay loop is okay for a loot grinder, story exists but doesn't hook much. Unsure if this has multiplayer at all, never got to a point where I played with other players.
