The game is Early Access for a reason...it's just not ready yet. It certainly has potential and the story is good but, I found it to be too buggy and glitchy at this point. Had to ask for a refund. I will keep it on my wishlist and follow its progress and hope that it gets better soon.

Just started, but its a fun game so far. The pathing seems a bit tricky sometimes but with plenty of auto saves it works just fine. The combat needs a bit of balancing but is very fun. So far the story is nice and I found myself even check out the side quests (those are not voiced) and had fun with that too.

I have player this game on linux, trough proton, on a system that has specs comparable to the recommended system requirements. The performance loss on Linux is meaningful, the game can be stuttery when rendering a new location and the framerate is about 80-90% of what you can expect on windows, with that said it remains perfectly enjoyable.
New Arc Line is a really good RPG, the character creation is good (even tough in early access there are only 2 species and classes available) and the progression is meaningful. The game has a good crafting system and interesting implementation of ones magic/technological skills even outside of combat.
Speaking of combat, it's nothing exeptional, you have few skills with a fairly good variety of effects, although fights become way too easy preatty soon in the game. One very confusing and pretty annoying part of combat is at the end, when you win an encounter a weird victory animation with wings in it's side shows up, it looks like the level up animation of a free to play ptw chinese/korean mobile mmo.
What really makes this game shine is, in my opinion, the scenario. The mix of steampunk and magic is a very underutilized setting in videogames and this game is a very good rendition of it, at the level of arcanum imo.
Overall, really good experience and I have high expectations for the full release

Dont review many game but when i do, I NEED MOAR OF THIS. LOVE IT with some minor issues the shuttering is related to your inventory and inventory could use organization of some sort. Very promising for an early release.

I had been meaning to check this game out for a while and last night i finally did.
After playing for almost 4 hours, i can say that i was really enjoying it and can see that it has huge potential.
The graphics are pretty decent, voice acting is decent, music decent, game play felt pretty decent too.
Only noticed minor bugs and glitches.
Perhaps it is just because I'm early in the game, but it is quite heavy on the dialog and light on the combat?
I like how it has the D&D and BG3 style dice rolling. It looks like it will have a cool crafting system.
Not sure if i will play more or wait for updates or full release, but i really do hope that this game dose release in full. Seems really cool.
Definitely worth it at that bargain price to help get the full release.

A fantastic cRPG early access. Honestly loved Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura back in the day, and this feels like a great spiritual successor. It does for classic RPGs what Baldurs Gate 3 has done for the isometric cRPG fantasy genre.
It has a lot of room to grow, but the story is great, the gameplay is great, the graphics are great, and the difference between playing a technologist and a mage is as different as it was for Arcanum. If you love that game, as well as games like Fallout athen I think you will love this.

This is an interesting concept but it is just another guided, not open world game. Some of the English is awkward which diminishes my willing suspension of disbelief. Perhaps, my expectations were too high. I was hoping for a true open world game and a more polished game.

Easy to say this game is a good game,
It's in its early stages missing a lot of things but it feels more completed then most "Triple-A" games.
It has a amazing story settings, Fun gimmicks, Interesting characters, nice decisions, good RPG system, fun combat.
If I had to compare this game,
This is what [b]Pillar of interity[/b] should of been with avowed.
This is what [b]dragon age USED[/b] TO BE dark and gridy fun and doesnt take themselves to serious,
This is what [b]wasteland[/b] is good combat fun story good looking graphics fun side quests amazing world,
This is what [b]rogue trader[/b] is building good lore and making a fun world to enjoy through good story telling and events,
This is what [b]starwars out laws[/b] can't be, a thieving game with dark decisions and fun events with said choices,
I've played a lot of games, And this is a 8/10,
Its currently buggy and not completed. But still plays better and is more fun then a TON of games releasing lately.

Good showcase of games core systems. Interesting magic system and a good intro into the story. While parts could be changed, i personally think that they are just placeholders and will be improved.
Character introduced are interesting and varied. And generally showcase their classes.
\Currently only 2 character classes are available. Steampunker, a heavy melee tech class and a voodoo sorceror a debuff/control focused magic one.
As long as you don't expect full game going in you should be satisfied. At least i was.
