Had friends over a weekend and decided to try this game together, ended up finishing all paths on normal mode, and by the end all i need to know is "HVOR ER ALLE MINE VENNER??"

It is absolutely fun, if not hard. My first deck builder that isn't "Balatro", and I'm having a blast. May be offputting for the graphics, but that's part of the charm! Also the music is absolutely banging!

Skogdal is a solid deckbuilder with a decent amount of variety but lacks a little in challenge, especially for fans of the genre. There are some mechanics that aren't explained but that's part of the joy, I think. The art style is charmingly quirky: think Guild of Dungeoneering, but make it vandalism on a high school desk. The music is fine, but I guarantee you'll get tired of it in only a few runs as it feels like there are only a handful of tracks. It's a good choice if you're looking for a deckbuilding roguelite that has the same vibe as the weird but cool kid that prefers to sit alone at lunch.

So Norwegian it hurts. Det gjør fysisk vondt å høre musikken av og tiil. But 10/10

it's just a really good "slay the spire" like game with more story elements and jokes. music is great if you're into foreign metal/rock.
