The Game refuses to give me the 1000 second achievement no matter what I do. I have stared at this stupid game for 20 mins without alt tabbing or anything just to be double sure and it just refuses. Please I beg of you, I just want my 100% completion on my .99 cent game.

When I played this game, I remembered my grandfather gave me the advice at my Uncle's wedding while we were sitting close to each other next to the Music Band. The music was so loud I couldn't hear what he said.

Can be beaten in about the same time as it would take you to order, eat, and regret your ramen experience in Japan.
I cannot wait for future sequels, such as:
- Mixing wasabi into soy sauce
- Mixing pepper flakes in your gyoza sauce
- Playing with leftover pickled ginger
- Picking at the last few grains of rice in your donburi
- Watching the sushi carousel go around, tempting yourself to grab another plate, but then deciding not
And my favorite:
- Watching the katsuobushi wiggle on your takoyaki while you wait for it to cool down
Only negative is I need a louder "irasshaimase" at some point, and I want to be able to say "Gochisosama" when I leave the game.
Future DLC for different broth or chopsticks please!

Just a game where you can make a penis out of oil circles. Pretty relaxing, but gets boring after 30 minutes

I really enjoy this simplistic yet immersive ramen oil pecking experience!
The background noise of customers and employees talking and shuffling their dinnerware plus the occasional passing shadow of a person you'll never meet provide an atmosphere of a passive solitude in an otherwise bustling social space. Whether that solitude is peaceful and relaxing or lonely and sorrowful depends entirely on the player, who has nothing more to do than sit and think as they pass the time shifting oil across the surface of their leftover broth.
The achievements are simple and gained through the natural process of pecking your oil. They highlight that even though you aren't doing something considered "productive," there is still great personal value in moments like these. That you took the time to think and be present in the moment is more than enough to make this time worth it. Your value is not dependent on what you do at the office or what you'll do when you get home. We cannot spend all our time working or sleeping, there must be moments in between- moments such as these.
In a world where games are expected to bring their own thoughts to the player, telling massive narratives and provocative theorems, this game lets the player bring their own thoughts to it. I find it refreshing, like a long shower after work or the much needed alone time after a weekend-long convention.
To a novel, this game is a notepad. Waiting for you to make of it what you will.
