Very basic options that could have a lot of promise, but falls short in all aspects of the game.

Mythic Battlegrounds: Demonic Siege is an autobattler strategy RPG game where you take on the role of Humans, Orcs, Elves or Dwarves, all with their own unique Leaders with their army, and Legendary units with their own abilities. I enjoyed the unit development, resource management, sidequests, skill unlocking and the autobattler combat part of the game. The game revolves around pre-battle planning. While battles play out on their own, your success depends on how well you prepare. Decisions such as upgrading units, allocating resources, and selecting skills are critical. Even the placing of units. The storyline was nice to follow and the music to go with it was quite epic. The most challenging part was unlocking some of those achievements. But once you finish the campaign you unlock Survival mode and that's when the real fun starts. I loved the campaign from start to finish. Including the challenges you face in the final chapter. I can't wait to see what else they bring to this game.

Somewhat enjoyable if you like auto-battlers, up until the end. Chapter 8 is ridiculous and should be set to humans only because you have no chance with other races and need to be very lucky with the humans even. After you get past that, the newly introduced survival mode is even more ridiculous. Before chapter 8 the game has a nice difficulty progression where it's challenging but doable. The end sucked so bad that any enjoyment that I had prior to it was quickly forgotten. Advice for the dev, assume that the average player is not you (the developer of the game) and think about if what you're doing will be fun or tedious. Also I just noticed that at the time of this review "ALL" recent reviews are negative. That says a lot and I wish that I noticed that prior to buying this.
