If you're a fan of the opening section of the original Final Fantasy where your first story quest is to capture an evil knight but your first actual objective is to repeatedly slam your head into your desk until you have the stats to actually survive trekking five minutes outside the city, this might be the game for you.
...Snide remarks aside, this game is competently made for what it is - a call back to the olden days of RPGs when MMOs were not about flashy particles and glowing circles, and not every combat system had to shoot you full of gallons of adrenaline. If you're looking for a game that will let you get that head-empty grinding zen, this might be worth a look.
