Story and animation are phenomenal, I really enjoyed the experience of playing this game. Some have said the controls are a bit clunky, but I got used to them, and to give the benefit of the doubt to the creators, I know most of the game has been hand drawn, so I feel like they can have a pass when it comes to game mechanics, it might just not be what some people wanted from it, but give it a go, play with a friend and get jumpscared! I finished the game and have never felt more inspired by the commitment these artist out into telling this story, and as an Italian I'm so pleased so many of the developers put their hard work into it. Siete stati grandi, davvero ispiranti, grazie!

I can't deny it's a really beautiful game. The art is so gorgeous and hand drawn, but that's where it ends for me. It feels like the game was not built with actual gameplay in mind. This experience is frustrating. The controls are so clunky, and the story was a bit empty. Which is truly unfortunate as I felt it had great potential. The game was sold as beautiful horror but it falls very short. Sadly I couldn't even finish it because of my frustrations in playing this title.

Let me keep this short: this game is beautiful and absolutely captures the Disney vibe. The art style is gorgeous, the music is fantastic, and the story is surprisingly solid. Unfortunately, the gameplay is a huge downside. It's honestly some of the worst gameplay I've experienced. For most of the game, you'll just be searching for items and using them in specific locations. Occasionally, you'll have to hide from stalkers, but once you understand their mechanics, they become incredibly easy to deal with and stop being interesting. The only gameplay sections I genuinely enjoyed were the occasional puzzles with Baesie. Overall, I can't really recommend this game. The presentation, music, and story are great, but the gameplay drags the entire experience down. I'd only suggest picking it up if you don't mind spending a lot of time on repetitive item-hunting and don't care much about gameplay.

Obviously this game is beautiful and honestly I like a lot of this game. I like the bell mechanic in the first encounter attracts the monster, but then later the player has to listen for the bell to know where the monster. It was a really cool reuse of a mechanic, props to the game developers. I think there's a lot of great things, however, the chapter with "owl monster" was tedious going back and forth with the clock was rough. The battle sequences are meh, very bland. Overall it's a good game though.

Chris Darril's Bye Sweet Carole by Chris Darril is another Chris Darril's attempt to make Chris Darril a brand name by putting Chris Darril in all the title cards and credits so you never forget this game is made by Chris Darril. However, what Chris Darril forgot with Remothered and with this game here, Chris Darril's Bye Sweet Carole by Chris Darril, is that you have to also design interesting gameplay in addition to putting Chris Darril everywhere. The gameplay, like Remothered is extremely shallow, surface level, clunky and to be blunt, boring. For Chris Darril, Gameplay always seems to be an afterthought to his visuals and stories. However, Chris Darril's stories by Chris Darril also tend to be extremely uninteresting. The animation is nice, but that is about the only positive I have come across so far. I didn't check, but I don't think the animation is by Chris Darril. Is it Chris Darril? Perhaps if Chris Darril wants to keep making games he should first make sure he creates interesting games worth playing before stamping Chris Darril all over them.
