This game is alright, I guess. In terms of writing (English version only), it's okay. The narration and dialogue, overall, aren't effective enough to create a captivating experience, and there's also numerous grammatical errors. (Note: I'm assuming the creator's first language is not English, so I'll cut them a little slack.) Something else I will say though, is that the writing/flow was pretty good in some of the combat scenes. In terms of the story, it's an interesting concept: a mercenary/private investigator type character investigates an attack on a gang. However, the flow is simply to fast and the story is neither long enough nor descriptive enough to uphold interest. While there are 24 endings, I think that choosing to invest into fewer branches would have been better. Characters: I really like their designs. While it's a shame that the sprites aren't in color, the way they were managed (being illustrations in a journal) works for the atmosphere of the game. However, the story doesn't allow proper time for the characters to be developed and I can't really find myself caring about them outside of an artistic perspective. This goes on into player/character relationships, which don't feel meaningful or feel rushed due to the flow/length of the story. There is also a fair amount of world building in the protagonists journal which provides information about the different characters and misc. world building; however, the game could not convince me to care about the story's history. Finally, the soundtrack. It's quite enjoyable, and it fits the vibe of the game quite well. If you have a few bucks on your steam account and don't have anything else to buy with them (like myself), this is certainly not a bad option, but personally, there are numerous other furry visual novels that are more enjoyable.
