This is a beautiful game. It captures what I loved about the old Kings Quest and Quest for Glory games, but with more emphasis on building relationships than on solving obscure puzzles. This immediately sucked me in (no pun intended); the art is beautiful, the voice acting is fantastic, and the plot is rich, with lots of branching possibilities and great characters. There are still a few minor bugs, but nothing that affected my enjoyment of the game. Highly recommended!

Beautiful game. Well written, and gameplay is simple with small elements of challenge. I've just finished my first playthrough and can't recommend it enough. The story is very customisable, it feels like you're choices actually matter, which is often where story-driven games fall short. Highly recommended :)

SPOILERS generally very good, needs better saving and the item interactions and QTEs are a little clunky. but i liked all the characters, the style, and the variety of choices kind of crazy that a vampire can be killed with a gun tho

good game for a casual month of thoughtful decisions about romance, friendships, family, and the importance of considering the greater community

Just wrapped it up and overall a great game. Its an adventure game without "moon logic", so generally common sense decisions end in expected outcomes. Voice acting is entertaining and generally sounds like everyone is conversing politely with one another. Graphics and art direction are good. There are different pathways a "good", "bad" and an opportunity to level both up without decreasing the other. I can see one good replay after the game finishes. Writing was good and the lore aspect of the city is great. At least in the good pathway, this gives the feeling that "Eh, I'm a vampire now, but I'm still a normal person." The one bad thing is controller can be hit or miss on lining up with the right people or things to interact with. Especially bad is the bat and rooftops which sometimes require some random button mashing until you can land. Might be better with mouse and keyboard. Overall, a great little adventure game which feels 'cozy'.

i loved the game the story and its multiple endings is it possible to make it like a never ending rpg like even after the story continues the player can play more and also introduce some side quests and like the protagonist become the vampire queen itself something like that but is it possible to do something like that and also use the vampire powers on all npcs too. please consider this as an request

I wish I could recomend this game so much, It's great and if not for one thing holding it back I would. But there's just so many bugs that softlock you it's inexcusable. I'm going to finish it because it's fun but if you are frustrated by massive time losses from crashes or bugs this is not the game for you.

In my opinion, Cabernet is a game which deserves more recognition. It has a great storyline and the choice you make can affect a lot of the in-game dialogue with various characters. I can’t pretend that your choice will perfectly change the main quest. Certain events can’t be changed or avoid. However, you are offered many choices which affect the future of certain characters and the ending you will get. There is a nice selection of optional quests available to you. The game plays very well with a Switch Nintendo Pro Controller, but it’s not working with a dualsense PS5 controller. As an achievement hunter, I had lot a fun to replay the game to see how my choices offer a various variety of changes within the story. The scenario is well written and voice actors are really good. It’s also got a really good soundtrack which fits well with the game ambience. I had the music ‘Drinks are on me’ in my head for days after playing this game. I also found that certain in- game mechanics were very interesting. For example, you can raise both your morality and nihilism (good/evil) in one playthough, because you can choose one option among the two without lowering the amount of point in the other category. Which means the more point you have in both categories will unlock more in-game choice for you. Another thing I did like is, unless its dawn in the game, (or currently in a timed event or near the last chapter) the time of the night doesn’t change unless you use an action point. Certain actions use an action point and other don’t. It gives you the leisure to explore the town at your own pace to find collectibles in certain chapters. So, it’s possible to return to your house to save without worrying that the time pass, because the time of the night only progresses when you use an action point (in most chapters). Sadly, there is only three save slot in this game, and you can get a lot of bugs which force you to reload. Luckily, there is an auto save feature with the manual save. I recommend to save often and use all the save slot available to you. You also have the choice to refill your blood meter in the manner you prefer. Feeding on rabbit, on people or drinking only cabernet. There is benefice and consequence to overfeed in this game. You also have the choice to romance certain character. If you love vampires and narrative games, you will surely love Cabernet. In overall, + Good story + Good soundtrack and voice acting + Good variety of choices within the linear main story quests + Nice selection of optional quests - Bugs which force to reload - Not enough save slot - Don’t work well with a Dualsense PS5 - Can’t romance Hussar
