A lot of fun! Deeply enjoyed the first game and INSANELY happy to see it transform into a VR space, perfect for a sequel. Whilst the game was rather short, there is an endless mode coming soon which I will certainly be playing soon. The main issue is the de-sync that I had numerous times with my controllers, at least fixing itself whenever I would lose a clone (which is much better than full restarting)
Greatly recommend and cant wait to see what they add in the coming update :)
Keep it up Doborog

absolute peak game
i played with a shitty several year old oculus rift s that is insistent on trying to brick itself and it worked perfectly, only problems is that the game is really short and theres this weird bug where this thing called "cyclord" appears and speaks its very strange its even tried killing me at multiple points

i wish there was a bit more endless maybe some of the other weapons from the main coming to the game like hammer and classic spear and maybe even a kick mechanic but other than that its good over all i think there should be some achievements to the game too like beating the hyperdome or others or doing the dialogs for the npc

Not a long game, nor does it need to be. A simple design, killer robots with laser swords, completed to perfection.
Now with the added endless mode, there is all the more chaos to be had. Excellent fun.

Great game. Before the skyscrapper update my only problem was that it was to easy, but now that has been fixed. It's a must buy for anyone who plays vr games!!!

I would have recommended it before the update but now the most definitely I do.
The game has an easier story mode(Crashloop) and a more challenging action focused mode(Skyscrapper endless). The story isn't insanely riveting but the characters are fun and I think that's what is important in game like this.
It was very satisfying fighting the robots at launch, but quickly after you pass the honeymoon period the edges of the combat actually did feel quite janky.
But now in the "Skyscrapper" update I think a number of changes bump the quality of the experience up a lot. Fighting is smoother, more customizable with difficulty tweaking and importantly much more consistent/predictable.
I feel you need to judge for yourself if this game is for you, the combat system isn't really deep but it is extremely novel and if freeform cutting of robots looks fun this game will be delivering on that front.
The game feels polished at this point and the develepers are bound to update it more, totally worth $26 imo.

I really enjoyed this game.
Pros:
A good range of enemies with different weapons and attack styles.
Enemies move in a realistic way that actually threatens you.
The game is a decent challenge if you play it right.
The weapons have weight to them, making it more realistic as a two handed sword will overpower a normal sword and still hit you.
The roguelite format works well for swordfighting.
The boss fights add variety to the game and the powerup combos are well thought out.
Cons:
The archers destroy the flow. Please give an option to turn them off.
The characters could be better written.
There aren't many weapons and most play the same. I'd like to see some positives and negatives to each type, like cutting more or less against certain armours, more reach, etc. The problem with using lightsaber style damage is even touching an enemy with a weapon kills them. I'd like to see a bit more variety in the damage types.
Not that many enemy varieties.
Not that much content (but not complaining for the price!)
Basically I'd love to see more of the same, with a bit more variety, but overall this is the best vr swordfighting game since blade and sorcery! Good job!

I... want to love this game, I don't, but I really want to. It's a fun time, all things considered, but the main draw back for me here, is how little of the content there is. It's an arcade rogue-like-esque thing combined into what is essentially Robot Gladiatorial Shows with all the presentation of WWE. That should slam hard, and game play wise, it kinda does. This is the only sword/ melee weapon fighting VR game with lock-ups, the edges of sharp blades locking together solely by friction alone, which is real and I wish it was in more games. The Game Play itself is pretty good, most of the time it's a one hit kill on you and everyone else if you know where to hit, cool; so where's the issue? Well, It's about in everything else. The cast of the game, whilst played by good voice actors, are, mostly, annoying and most of the characters journeys feel halfhearted and half baked. It's clear they kinda wanted to push for characters that would grow as you get further through the game, but either because of budgetary restraints for their voice actors, or because they didn't think this through very well, the characters lack that journey, even in between the many little small interactions they have after every match... interactions that don't happen after you've done the story. The characters don't feel like they've grown, it's less like flat story arcs for all you fellow writers out there, and more, they get one answer and only change slightly to be less of a dick. MX2 comes to mind for an example.
Besides the lackluster characters, there's not a lot to be done after you've played the story, and I absolutely blitzed through this game because I wanted to see more character interactions. SPOILER ALERT, if anyone's reading this without having played the game, but the end game sees you defeating the big bad boss over and over in an attempt to bring the cast up to the captains room as you become the captain, and allow them to ask a question to a robotic entity through it's servant. But, after you've gotten them all one question, there's no more. There's no second or third responses where their should be. It's an Anti-climactic end for a game that thrusts these personalities into your face, hoping you care for them and want to see them improve, only for most of them to stay Assholes and not really change with no real character arc for them. As someone who's been doing a hell of a lot of study to try and write good characters, which yes, it's not as easy as one thinks, this irks me. I get budgetary restraints, the actors aren't in it for the same reason as the game director, or others on the team, but still. What also is lacking besides story items is game modes, extras for when you beat the game, or just fun side quests. The game, outside of the main story, is empty, bland, devoid of things to do, and once you get tired of playing through the same stages with the same enemy types, you start wanting more because you paid good money for an experience, not a lot of money, but enough that justifies other indie devs putting in the time and effort to make a better experience.
One thing that could make this a better title is mod support. People love doing things to their games, it's like mechanics with their prized cars, it's why big games like fallout 4 or skyrim or even Blade and sorcery are so active with players, the games have mod support, meaning you've got people putting as much as their little hearts desire into those games, making those play-throughs uniquely theirs. I would love to see the community make other fighters, or redesign them, or add new weapons, or stage sections, make things fun and new. But that's not here right now. I know the games not forgotten, but, it's not getting the love it needs at the moment, from where it needs it.
In essence, and if you pulled a TLDR, the game is okay, I don't love it, but I like it and what it could be if given more support, things to do, and adding to the casts interactions and making them feel like actual characters. This is a hard one to justify, so, I'd say wait until there's more for the game in terms of things to do.
