Love this game and the DLC's that the game has to offer but the only con I have is the lack of UK steam era branch lines and steam locos being made by Dovetail.

The ONLY reason i recommend this game is because it can be enjoyable for those who love trains. The game play is actually really good and there are tons of routes and rolling stock. But, the prices on DLC are just way to high for what you get. And even for an old game, you will need modern hardware to run the game at a playable frame rate. So if you have older hardware that "should" run TS, think again. If you have the money to spend, and mid to high end hardware then yes, this game is fun and enjoyable.

Every new edition of this game is basically the same as the previous, as DTG do not bother to improve the graphics and UI every time, only choosing to work with their content partners. Avoid this at all costs.

Not recommended, i dont know what Dovetail did, but it isnt working. The game opens, no problems. But when i try to start a quick drive, it will start loading, then freezes. Stuck on infinite black screen. Its not because of my specs or anything because pc is running perfectly. Its just a black screen. I dont know how many times i had to restart my PC but it starting to piss me off. Only career mode is working for some reason. Please fix your glitches Dovetail. (although im not getting my hopes up to dovetail fixing anything)

This is my take on the most well known train simulator on this earth. So TSC is a great train simulator it doesn't cost to much money (cough cough TSW cough cough) and most of the routes are actually quality excluding a few. If your looking for a game that has many MANY railways go with this instead of TSW. I hate to say it but in my opnion this is better Then Train Sim World. Also it has like 10X the routes then Train Sim World has ever had. The DLCS aren't as pricey as TSW and they usually contain the entirety of the line. (COUGH COUGH TSW) Also when dlcs go on sale THERE A STEAL. If your looking for a game that probably has some routes you want that TSW doesn't have get this. If you want to add mods get this. And if your looking for a Game that isn't overpriced get this over TSW. Those are my final thought do not leave a comment >:(

Game not opening in windowed version. Two uninstalls and re-installs later, still no game. Shows in Steam as "running" - well it isn't!
Waste of money!

I enjoy running trains on USA and local routes I am familiar with and driving new and (unfamiliar to me), locomotives, rolling stock and routes. I also enjoy the opportunity to run vintage locos and trains from the past. It's great seeing vintage diesel and steam as well as classic locos and rolling stock. I also enjoy the opportunity to experience, see and operate railway equipment and routes I would probably not have the opportunity to see and visit in my lifetime. Very relaxing. I really enjoy and think you all did a great job creating Train Simulator !
