It was what I expected: fun but I mostly put it on max time speed and watched Youtube.

A lot of reviews for this game seem to point at the idea that this game gets a bit shallow as you play. If I look through a gameplay complexity perspective, then sure, I can see that. This all said, I chose to view this game through the perspective of a person who had (had a friend who had) a marble run when they were younger. Marble runs aren't complex but the fun is in building the run and letting it go. This game is kinda like that. You kinda just have fun setting up your dungeon and letting it go. A full playthrough from start to finish on extreme took me about 2 days, while a full playthrough on relaxed took me about 6 hrs, so you can easily play a little or a lot depending on the time you have to play. Is the game good imo? I'd say yeah. You just gotta enjoy it for what it is and do your best to not get frustrated with what it simply isn't. if you read this far, ty and have a nice day ^^

good game. I little short on content. A few things I think would improve this game is ai personalitys, among hero vs hero situations like who gets the loot, the ability to cast spells including banes, and boons. Potentially even spells that can edit some personalitys. More building options, and camera changes. one idea would be cool if you could go through the dungoun watching through a heros eyes. Also a expansion on hero lvls they max out quickly.

7/10 Realistically, the game is 5 hours of fun and then it's another 5-10 hours of grind to see all the game content. I had a crash (which the game ingame pointed out to me... funny crash) a reproducible bug (don't put a campfire and clay or iron pots together in an 8x8 room) and another bug. It's ok... A lot more love could have gone into it. 10 euros or less is ok. PS : Only 10% have won all quest rewards... Unfortunately, that says a lot about the game and the buyers :(

fun to start with, building up the dungeon, but there are no objectives post 5 stars which is quite easy to get, this isn't the dungeon keeper replacement we're looking for, its also a slightly weird dynamic that you don't want to make the dungeon too hard else the heroes get unhappy, had a fun few hours but unlikely to go back.

Not enough content within the game to get really advanced with your setup. Late game feels boring and repetitive

A good idea implemented poorly. For every interesting thing in the game it feels either pointless or needlessly restrictive. You can place traps in your dungeon to harm or slow the heroes. However traps generate no income, so they are pointless. Your monsters drop gold when they are defeated, which heroes will then use to buy upgrades or potions. However you quickly become flooded with so much gold it becomes really hard for not only the heroes to carry as much as is dropping, but hard for you to collect at the end of the day, leading to lots of wasted gold every single day. There is a variety of decorations and lighting options as well as room sizes to allow you to make the dungeon however you like. However you quickly unlock a few key items that you will place in every room to hit the desired lighting and decoration levels while taking up as little space as possible. Now for the straight up bad points. The game slows down heavily as you get into the later stages, especially as bosses die and the game spawns several instances of gold at once. Given the lack of in depth settings for the game, there is little to do to prevent this. The game has multiple speeds, however the game will reset to the default speed every so often, which given how idle the game is can slow the pace of gameplay quite a bit before it is noticed. The game has a grouping function for the heroes, but it only works with 4 people. So given the amount of people entering the dungeon each day you always have a few people sitting there waiting to party up when they should just be forming a party or 3 or 2. You also can't really do anything while the dungeon is open, which means the further you get into the game, the more you are just waiting for the day to progress. You will finish researches yet be unable to start any new ones until the day is over. Given the random slow downs, the game struggling when bosses die, and the fact that heroes will sometimes simply bug out and keep running around the same room and never leave, if you aren't actively paying attention each day can take a long time. So even though it should be an idle game, you are regularly punished if you treat it as one. The game is being worked on, so hopefully it gets better a few months from now. But right now if you are looking at buying I would advise you to set your expectations low.

It's kinda rare that a game starts OK, gets better..... and then gets way worse. This game is an idle game. 100%. After about 60 days in game, you're looking at 5 minutes of idle animation every DAY. Longer as your dungeon grows. I CANNOT fathom playing this for 8 hours, and watching a triple speed view of my day. And if you skip the day (can you?) .... then what is the gameplay? I think my review comes down to one thing: there is no gameplay here. There would have to be a fundamental breakdown and rebuild of this game to make something worth playing. I wish I could get a refund. I got 4 hours out of it. I'm at 3.5 stars. I think I'm done.
