Among most of the games I played on Voltage Inc, I do find this game a bit boring compared to the others, but it is still a good gameplay regardless. My most favourite character is Aki & Sosuke, a shame that they did not include the yukata guy on the steam version, [strike]I forgot his name.[/strike] Will check him out on their mobile app version which it is their primary platform.
Aki
Aki is a complex and reserved individual who conceals his true emotions behind a perpetually calm and polite demeanor. Frequently seen smiling, he earns the nickname "Sir Smiles" from Futaba, reinforcing his outward appearance of amiability. However, beneath this composed facade lies a deeply detached personality, while he maintains a veneer of kindness, he struggles to form genuine emotional connections with others and has often been perceived as dispassionate. Despite his typically aloof nature, Aki gradually reveals a more vulnerable side as his relationship with the protagonist deepens. This subtle shift in behavior suggests a guarded trust, allowing rare glimpses into his true self. His usual air of maturity and restraint makes these moments of openness all the more significant, highlighting the nuanced layers of his character. Aki’s enigmatic presence adds intrigue to the narrative, serving as a compelling study in emotional restraint and selective vulnerability. His development throughout the story reflects a carefully crafted balance between detachment and quiet depth, making him a fascinating figure within the game’s cast.
Sosuke
A determined aspiring windsurfer working as a deliveryman for Sayama Express, Sosuke Kikuchi is a devoted childhood friend with a long-standing affection for the protagonist. Having grown up in Shonan alongside the protagonist’s younger twin brothers, Takehito and Tomohito, he first developed feelings for them at age six—a quiet, unwavering devotion that persisted even through other relationships. Sosuke’s grounded yet passionate nature makes him a compelling romantic interest. Though his exterior can seem rough around the edges, he demonstrates consistent care, prioritizing the protagonist’s well-being—whether ensuring they rest properly or discreetly looking out for them in social situations. His deep respect for their autonomy prevents him from imposing expectations, making his love patient rather than possessive. Balancing maturity with intensity, Sosuke transitions seamlessly between a protective, almost nurturing presence and an openly ardent partner once mutual feelings are established. His connection to the sea mirrors his personality: steady on the surface, but dynamic beneath. A well-rounded character, Sosuke blends reliability with quiet passion, offering a relationship built on enduring loyalty. (There are 3 more, but I haven't played them, will come back later when I am done.) Low-key hoping for a route with the MC’s twins, they’re totally my type, WAY more than Aki or Sosuke. I also would recommend you guys to try Love Letter From Thief X, if you have their app. My favourite character is Hiro, from looks to personality, but[strike] not height[/strike]. Honestly, I prefer their older games over the recent ones. Feel free to disagree, but imo, the art, stories, and BGM in their earlier titles were stronger. But, I still enjoy their game regardless, and won't stop buying except Metro PD, their art style is too much of a no-no for me.
