Interesting little Bomberman clone with rogue-like elements.... The game uses a familiar game engine which lends to its generic, asset-flippy feel in nature but there's something more here. I would play this game more if it was not for the third stage that makes cloud effects hang over the level, heavily implemented so you cant see where you have to walk. Not that good when you're trapped in a small box with dramatically turning and shifting enemies and obstacles. In typical rogue-like fashion you get a choice of three cards of abilities to improve your character to improve your run after each level. The character is transported to a randomly generated stage and has to find the exit, navigating via vehicle and occasionally getting out of said vehicle to battle enemies. Even if fixed now I'm not sure if I'm gonna go back and say its overall a dramatically better game, but I would like to preserve and cherish the good impressions and give a little appreciation for an under-appreciated title.

Bomberman roguelike dungeon crawler. For $0.99? I'd recommend it if it sounds good to you. For people that dislike bomberman, I'd say skip it. For people who don't really like roguelikes, but like bomberman, I think it is worth trying. Personally I like the mechanics in classic bomber man games better, though you don't see this style of game very often. The game is pretty self explanatory, though there is one thing that kept on bothering when playing. So in the game, when you input a direction, the character walks to the next square in that direction. Pretty basic. Though the character can not start walking towards a different square until they get to the center of the square they are walking to. Again pretty basic. What bothered me? If you hit a direction and realized you don't really want to go that way, you can't hit the opposite direction to cancel the movement (and walk back to the square you were on) I am so used to being able to cancel movements and instantaneously start walking back in other games, That not having this feature makes the game feels clunky and unresponsive.
