Experience a realistic race that you have not experienced in 2D. You can race with hundreds of cars on dozens of tracks. You can earn money and buy and sell cars. You can modify your cars. You can get a driver's license to participate in races. It is a very comprehensive huge 2d racing game.

I love top down racers. I have most of all of them you could buy over all the years. This top down racer is excellent and has a a lot of content. Its sad that i feel this title has been overlooked it stands with the very best in the genre

Decent top-down racing game once you figure out how to turn off the godawful music. Check Discussions for the location of the Save files, since there is zero documentation. Important info for getting started: if you want to select something, the Spacebar is your friend. ADDENDUM: This game gets old VERY quickly. I spent more time searching for the save game files than I did playing. The game is based on having the proper "license" to participate in races, and one of the early licenses is, for all intents and purposes, unattainable (there's a YouTube video of it, where the player tries again and again and again before finally ragequitting, and I had much the same experience). So, yes, the game has a buttload of different tracks -- and you'll likely never be able to race on most of them). Changed my review to a thumbs-down. There's just too much damned grief for this game being no better than it is. Check my reviews -- there are *free* games that are better than FRGT2D. (FRGT is an abbreviation for FORGET.)
