I was expecting a little silly cooking game. The story line is not AT ALL what I expected! I did not expect mafia, drugs, murder and all sort of violent thing in a silly cooking game! loved it!
For the game play, it is a lot of fun! Once you get used to one restaurant, the story send you to a new one with new mechanics. the game is not too hard, not too easy. For the Cook, serve, delicious fan, it is a good game for you!
The only thing ''negative'' I have to say for this game, it the symbols. I'm using a Canadian keyboard layout. some of the symbols are juste not possible to make fast, I had to restart a few days because of that. Having a keyboard setting would be nice.

Fun typing game reminiscent of Diner Dash.
The story is actually pretty funny and entertaining too.
$12.99 for what the game provides isn't bad, but wait for a sale for bigger value.

Delightful typing game with plenty of character and a bonkers plot. Game was clearly made on a shoestring budget with a bunch of clashing fake assets, but the important stuff - the gameplay, challenge and feel is all there. Things are always getting mixed in with new dishes and customer with their own little gimmicks, so it doesn't get stale.

I recommend this game because the core game mechanic is really fun and addicting. You type words for each meal preparation step and to serve customers. There are probably other games like this but this is the first one I’ve played and I like how unique it is.
The difficulty feels adequate. As a someone who can’t type with 10 fingers, I found the "normal" difficulty setting hard enough to be challenging but not so hard that it’s impossible to keep up. More advanced typers can increase the difficulty.
I enjoy that there are cutscenes between levels because they allow you to take breaks from typing frantically. They also add more depth to what you’re doing and help stitch the different restaurant settings together.
I’m not so sure about the story though. It feels like they’re trying to do too much with it. It’s too convoluted with enough plot twists to give you whiplash. It reminds me of a TV show where they try to fit 2 hours’ worth of content into a 30-minute episode.
I can’t figure out who the target demographic is supposed to be either. The story is unrealistic, over-the-top and cartoonish as if it was meant for kids, but at the same time the major themes don’t strike me as appropriate for children (
drug abuse – a lot of it, non-consensual relationships, gun violence, death, suicide, the mafia
). I’m an adult but honestly, I would’ve preferred a simpler story with less heavy themes. It doesn’t fit the vibe of the game.
A minor nitpick I have is the amount of grammar errors in the English dialog. It doesn’t appear to be an intentional stylistic choice. You can tell that whoever wrote the dialog doesn’t speak English as their first language. It’s not a dealbreaker for me but it does make the story less immersive and comes across as neglectful. This is the first game I’ve played where the English translation was a noticeable issue for me.
Overall, this game is really fun and I want to finish it, but the cutscenes start to feel like a drag after a while. I wish they were shorter and that the story was more straightforward.

I love a good typing game, and this was unexpectedly addicting.
100%ed over a weekend; did an initial play through on Normal because I was so invested in the story, then sped through the Very Hard difficulty for the last achievement. Was just challenging enough and almost bordered on "I want to throw my keyboard out" by the last two restaurants on the hardest difficulty because of the celebrity type customers and the influx of rats.
I'm going to have to give my wrists a break from typing games for a while. Maybe get some KBBQ while I'm at it since all this food made me hungry.

i like the gameplay a lot, it looks a bit like a Delicious-like (not sure what else to call it, lol) but the typing mechanic instead of clicking is fun.
i'm not sure about the story to be honest. at first i thought it was pretty funny but the story parts start getting quite long & convoluted imo. during the mexican restaurant i started pretty much skipping almost all the story parts, i don't care enough to put in the time to watch them. sometimes you don't have all day, & then i'd rather get to play more levels.
