Minimal graphics but excellent range of colors, Good soundtrack. the duration is short, about 40 minutes, unfortunately it doesn't deserve the full price because of that. Rating 6/10

I have played so many walking simulators from this developer and I usually like them, however it is the same music, the same art style and the same scenery over and over again. Just by making the map bigger does not make the game longer or better. I would not recommend this game.

Alright. **Dreamy Trail** is done and dusted. This game was thematically the same as the other *Hike* series walking simulators of course.
We do get the same two songs on a loop yet again. . And the forest assets are of course the same, just with a marginally different layout.

This game brings back the camp assets and a few others of course. Axe to clear logs? Check. Mining Pick to clear standing stones? Check. Lantern to clear ice? Wait a second. We have a new asset to play with. And the winter section was also new I believe.
Ultimately, your goal in this one is to reach a gem floating at the heart of the forest, surrounded by large mystical crystals, the large crystals we remember being the goal from *Woodland Hike*. Curiously, you can walk through them lol.
A rule of exploration is that, when faced with multiple paths, always choose left. This helps you find your way back if necessary and facilitates an easier rescue attempt if you get into trouble. As long as everyone follows this rule, exploration is always a smoother experience.
Although I doubt the dev is aware of this left turn exploration rule, people do intuitively follow it more often than not, and the dev is no exception. So when in doubt, wander off to the left to find the next obstacle needing to be cleared.

Anyway, this was another one dollar, half hour game and a pleasant way to kill a little bit of time. It was fully Steam Deck compatible and was fairly linear overall.
Oh...and this was the second game in a row by this dev featuring exactly one cheevo, gained by simply opening the game lol.
