Clunky and constantly defaults settings away from what you pick.

tbh could do more with customization and progression early on , they do seasons though and the game is still not even a year old. lots of content to come. you really just have to grind and get good simple as that.. Gameplay is top tier and the competition among your peers only elevates it.

Disconnect? Lose points. No reconnect option for disconnections amongst other issues.

Don't buy it, even on sale. It's far worse than previous titles. You will be forced to pay IRL money in VC to upgrade your character to compete. You have to pay money to make your controllers stick move the way your fingers made it... horrible.

a big step up from 23. the new swing tech is pretty cool, making it challenging in bad lies, do i wish there was a separate currency for experience that you can use to pay for upgrades, yes, but, its not something that is too negative, just more of a desire.

not bad, i have a rog ally i run this game high graphics no problem. runs great , it would be nice to earn more vc. it cost alot to upgrade player

Fun game if you like golf. Its very hard, so you're not shooting -22 every round, which is a plus. The online ranked matchmaking is horrible though, regularly matching me (a new player) up with guys ranked 3, 4, 5, 6, and even 7 ranks higher than me, making it almost impossible to consistently play with players at my skill level. Very frustrating ecosystem to try and get better in and build confidence in if you're a person that likes the Ranked competitive world of online gaming.

Fun game especially if you enjoy playing golf. That said, it is quite glitchy going from screen to screen and even sometimes when preparing to take your shot. Not game breaking, but it is annoying.

The gameplay of this game is well done. What kills it is the constant attempt to speak to a server, it feels like a big mobile game and then there is the hanging. Boy does this game hang a lot between swings. But alas, it looks great, plays well, and when it is working be it on my Steam Deck or on the PC, it is truly an enjoyable game. The swing is fabulously done be it 3 clicks or the swing-swing. Until the UI kills it. Everything is ok till the UI kills it, the UI guy should, yeah . . .. There monetisation is not bad at all. If you want it, buy it, if not just go to MyCareer and get on with the swing. The commentators are terrible, turn them off right away as the crowd's clapping is better. The game looks terrific, sounds great and feels wonderful - again, then comes the UI and UX coupled with the constant talking to the server which rather frankly is a very lazy way to build a game but I can understand why but I hey there is this game called Fortnite is there not? Yeah Yeah Yeah, hackers etc. So why don't I recommend it if I love it so much, well, you need to love golf games to play this game. It is so irritating and as someone mentioned it is debilitating at times when trying to do something. The interviews, messaging, social media rating and what feels almost like an RPG is all done well. But still, you better love golf and better be willing to jump all the hurdles to play this game, because if you can, like me, you will love it. So this is a passive aggressive review on this game. I wish it to be so much more, and it is. But if only, if only . . . .

"Link 2K Account for 500 VC" : Gives no vc "Unlocked new pants as sponsorship reward" : Gives you no pants (two times...) Gameplay is a bit better from 2k23 but not enough for you to buy a new game for it. Customization seems less than 2k23... a lot of the clothing, gloves, accessories are general 2k basic equipment... not many options to choose from. Very disappointed. But I should have known better. It's 2K... Update: Reached out to 2K about sponsorship issue. According to them it is an issue they have been aware of for over a month. Still no fix.
