Is this game worth it? Well, If you like asymmetrical multiplayer games and or are a fan of Ghostbusters, yes, it is worth it.

I would easily call this a must if you're already a fan, especially if it's on sale. It's got a cute little story mode with a few of the original cast and the customization for your characters is excellent. The art direction and music are also VERY GB, like a mix of the movies and cartoons. Not many other fps games come to mind where your objective isn't to kill the enemy but instead to chase it down and trap it (among other objectives like calming down scared bystanders or teammates) it makes for a unique and humorous rhythm.

This is a really fun and enjoyable Ghostbusters game. So glad that it is peer to peer connections instead of dedicated servers. I'm having a blast!

The reason I bought this game was for it's purported crossplay functionality. I've tried all kinds of online tutorials trying to get it to work and can only now conclude that there actually is no crossplay functionality. I really want my money back.

I BUST IF I MUST. Iv only played this for a few hours and i can honestly say i am impressed. The game is a 1v4 and i think both sides are fun to play. You can either play as a Ghostbuster or a Ghost. Ghostbuster: Playing as the Ghostbuster means you play in a team of 4 and you have multiple objectives in a game. You have to bust ghost minions, bust the main ghost, destroy rifts and try to keep civilians from leaving. You use your P.K.E Meter to track down any ghost or Haunted objects and can use a P.K.E Pulse to stun the ghost. Once you have found the ghost, you can send out a trap and shoot the ghost with the Proton Pack and try to catch it in the trap, However traps have limited battery and the ghost can break free of the stream. Also you cant let your Proton Pack overheat. Once you discover a haunted object, you can destroy it and it will reveal a rift and once you destroy the 3 rifts, the ghost cannot come back through them. Finally there is the civilians. They are all around the place and if they get too scared, they will leave and if they leave, the haunting meter will go up. Your goal is to calm them down by talking to them so they do not leave and give the ghost an advantage. Ghost: There are quite a few ghosts to unlock and there are different ghost abilities to equip to use in game. Your goal is to down the Ghostbusters, scare civilians and reach maximum Haunt to win. Ghosts can posses objects and civilians. possessing objects will recharge your energy faster and you can possess a civilian to run to the exit door and make them more scared. If you get trapped by the Ghostbusters, you can come back through 1 of 3 rifts. There are also small rifts on certain walls that allow you to go through the wall and come out the other side. You also get 3 abilities to attack and scare with. The game also has a ton of customisation. There are a lot of character features to customise for your Ghostbuster like Clothes, Hair, Facial Features, Shoes, Accessories and more. There is also a lot of upgrades and customisation for your Proton Pack, P.K.E and Trap. As for the ghost, you can customise ghost skins and abilities and by levelling up, you unlock more ghosts to play as. Some Negatives: There is a story mode to play, however i am not a fan of you having to be certain levels to unlock story progression. If you want to play as the ghost and queue up for it, you will probably get into a game as a Ghostbuster that has already started and have to complete that first before you play as the ghost. Overall, i think this is a fun. I had a good time playing as both Ghost and Ghostbuster. It has fun game play for both sides. There is a decent amount of upgrades and customisation to level up for and you can level up kinda fast

Pretty lovely game, solid and joyful fun, fun! Game could have more maps in future (already 10 maps and that is decent, just my opinion), some more gears, stuff and more different ghosts, still even there is nice bunch of them and variation. I haven't had any issues to find a online match, always you can play and practice with bots, even though bots could be still little bit more better, but yeah they are alright, time to time they will do everything on their own, trapping, finding rifts and destroying them. I have play this game 50/50% Online/Private games and those Ghost bounty missions are very nice too, so, really nice little game indeed, i hope more people will find this game. Also could be nice if there was a different modes like 4vs2 mode too, or 5 to 6vs2, or so. Game is fun to play as ghost too, just having fun lurking around and doing ghost stuff without to get stern or annoyed, it is just fun. On team with busters other hand things can be really fun and funny. PS.Nothing else than good vibes, fun gameplay and hey Ghostbusters! - really happy if we see more game content in the future and more people finding this game.

Pretty fun game. I wish it was third person and more customisation options. There is huge opportunity to sell skins, but for some reason devs decide not to. Devs, if you read this - I'm gonna pay for skins, if you make it third person view.

This is a very well done game imo. It's fun, it reminds me of the prophunt game Midnight Ghost Hunt, it's well executed with both gameplay and artstyle. I usually give IllFonic a lot of hate for their choices, but is pretty fun. I'm glad there's crossplay and I'm glad it's only $5 at the time of the review. Predator Hunting Grounds having recently played that, was rough. This though? Pretty solid and fun. 9/10 because yall should've launched on Steam first, not Epic. Two complaints because we Could Not capture the ghost AT ALL in a match. It was a human player, couldn't go into the trap. Then they d/c. Then it was a bot. And we STILL could not capture it at all. It was playing Drake. Another being me having 3 bot teammates and they were trying to tether the roof.... There was nothing there. I scanned and blasted. At least you can twerk as Slimer though. That's pretty cool

Me and my friend busted all over the place. I really enjoyed when he busted on the chair. We plan on bustin' all over and over and over. 10/10 I almost came..........to the conclusion that this is the best game to bust too.

If IllFonic didn't have a bunch of other live service games and this wasn't a epic exclusive for a year, I fee like all the updates that would of made this game great, its fun for like 5 rounds and after that you'll basically need friends to get through the rest
