good remaster... however theres this really cool third game yes a third game indeed a third game that needs to be remastered too and with working online MP would be awesome

Cool Remaster of great games ! I used to be quite skeptical at first about Replay, especially since I've already played and beaten the Patapon games a bunch of times already and the idea of releasing another Remaster for them felt a little weird, especially with little new content added (at the time of release, not counting Boss Rush), however, I quickly became really fond of that version. Having the game on Steam is great as it allows a lot of new people to get into the series, and gives the fans a new way of enjoying the games. The added settings are really nice to have. and are in my opinion, a great addition to the Remaster, alongside the tips for Patapon 1 (it's nice having them in that game as well). And while Replay doesn't add any new content to the existing games, I realized, after some time and thinking, that already great games don't really need new stuff to be enjoyed and loved (especially for a big fan such as myself). Some more quality of life features could have been added, mostly regarding boss drops in P1 or balancing (for both units and bosses), but that'll do, those aren't huge flaws either, so I don't really care. The only few problems I really have with the game are some small issues regarding incorrect graphics like Dekatons wearing Dekapons' helmet, which, while minor, weren't even in past releases of Patapon 1 and 2. And also, while it is possible to obtain the demo/online exclusive in Patapon 2, like the PS4/PS5 Remastered version (which I am really grateful for), I wish there was a way to obtain the Spear of protection from Patapon 1's demo on PSP. It's weird being able to obtain demo equipment in one game but not the other. And speaking of Online, not having Online in P2 kinda hurts the experience, not much, but it's still removed content, which kinda sucks for an already pretty small experience like P2. Boss Rush is a pretty neat concept for a game like Patapon and was a cool addition to the experience. Overall, this is a pretty cool Remaster, and while there are some issues here and there and P2's online being completely absent, it's still a nice way of playing the first games of the series. I don't regret buying it on day 1.

One of my most favorite games and highly recommended. It's nostalgic and fun, so glad they brought it to PC.

I loved this game long ago on my Vita, this just brought it all back. only issue it was oddly laggy on the steam deck? Otherwise worth the price.

While I encourage everyone to try it and decide for themselves what they think. I had to put it down personally. I remember being a kid and watching my brother play this game and thinking it looked so fun so I was really excited to get it myself. The art and music is adorable and I could listen to it for a long time Unfortunately its been more tedious than enjoyable. Mini games are very particular/time consuming and not very rewarding in what you may receive from them. Materials required to strengthen your army are difficult to come by and easily removed entirely by a boss that kills your newly made individual. Level specific "Miracles" only last a short amount of time and so need to be done repeatedly in the same level which will also ruin your fever streak, and a personal issue for me is just keeping track of each of the individual patterns but I imagine that's not a general issue. I wish I had the patience to stay with it but I dont think I do

Now I remember why I stopped playing this game on the PSP back in the day. My timing is absolute buns. Still, it's a cute and fun game TUNG TUNG PATA PON!
