An interesting game, you have to complete a puzzle in the dungeon. You will meet various challenges, you need to pass them without dying.

An interesting game with a lot of exciting levels and game mechanics. The well-revised atmosphere of hell and its inhabitants allows you to dive deeper into the plot of the game.

This game is blatantly false advertising on all five of its points:
Engaging storyline: the game offers a gripping story that will keep you on edge until the very end.
There was no storyline. The only text is mechanical descriptions of the enemies and items. Actually, that's not true. There's one dramatic line saved for after the final level:
You were eated by the darkness.

Carefully crafted graphics: the game features detailed 3D graphics that will immerse you in a world of darkness and horror.
No care was taken with the graphics, they're not detailed, and they're not 3D. The pixel art is a bit mushy on the animated enemies, but I don't hate the fire-and-brimstone tileset. I wish I could call the graphics serviceable, but that would be too generous: the exit tile is offset. which makes the goal of one or two levels confusing. On a few levels, the exit is behind a wall tile and is nearly invisible.
Intense gameplay: with each step, the game becomes more challenging, and you will have to use all your skills to overcome all the obstacles.
The difficulty and complexity wavers. There will probably be a fire amulet in every level after the first time you get one, but the sword may or may not show up after it's introduced. "Intense" is also relative: it may be intense if you're a goldfish, or if you're trying to beat the whole game before your pasta water starts boiling, but the gameplay is just moving around the board one flick at a time, with no time constraint or enemy reactions (except for one, but I'll talk about him later).
Exciting puzzles: the game offers a variety of challenging puzzles that will require creative thinking and logical skills.
I struggle to call the puzzles "exciting". They remind me of the toys ThinkFun sells, particularly Tilt (which is, sadly, out of stock). For those unaware, ThinkFun games cost from $20 to $30 nowadays, and come with 40-60 logic puzzles that steadily increase in difficulty. I loved those when I was a kid, and figured I'd buy this as a nostalgia trip. After leaving Die Rave on my wishlist for a year, I got it at a 90% discount for $4.49 plus tax. (According to isthereanydeal.com, this game used to be sold for a dollar and was sometimes on sale below that, which would certainly explain a thing or two). I knew it would be grossly overpriced, but was expecting around a hundred puzzles, maybe fifty if the game cheaped out. Instead, there were twenty puzzles included, which didn't always introduce new ideas. The achievements are broken, too, if you're the kind of person who cares about that.
Scary enemies: on your way, you will encounter scary enemies that are either guardians of the place or lost souls like you. You will have to fight them to reach your goal.
Like, they're a little bloody and gross, but the enemies are completely manageable. There are three kinds of enemies in the game:

The abominations are instant death until you pick up the sword on each level. After that, they pose no threat to you, and they might as well be treated as floor tiles.
The pyromancers are exactly like abominations, but they occasionally flare a burst of flames on the four tiles around them. They literally never hit me with the attack, and most levels they're in include a fire amulet that nullifies the flames. They might as well just be a pallet swap of the abominations.
According to the description, the banishlords will block you when you hit them, and raise their own swords to kill you if you hit them again. What the game does not tell you is that they will lower their swords again after a few moves, and that the banishlords die after three hits. I could only find this out through trial and error. I also did not intuit until level 19/20 that they won't counter a killing blow, so after you hit them once, you can double-tap them next time. I'm pretty sure the level was impossible without this knowledge.

Conclusion
I'm a strong believer that every product should have equal opportunity to be sold, and the best will rise to the top. I gave this game every benefit of the doubt I had, but it took me twice as long to write this review as it did for me to complete Die Rave. I wouldn't recommend this game even at a 99% discount. If you have $40 to burn and you're looking for a set of simple, repetitive logic puzzles, I'd suggest you mail-order something off ThinkFun's collection (I'd particularly suggest Rush Hour). Sure, they're childish and repetitive, but so is Die Rave. Plus, even after you've solved all the puzzles, you get a dozen chunky plastic toys, instead of 28.69 megabytes of DRM-laced ones and zeroes.

Die Rave is an interesting addictive puzzle game with a storyline. Representing a view from above. The plot itself consists of a rather unusual storyline: a lost soul moves through the corridors of hell in search of salvation.
