Sniper Elite 3 Reviews

Even as an avid fan of sniper games, and I really liked the first one in this series, I couldn't force myself to finish this one. Even on Sniper Elite difficulty, the sniping is quite easy, and it's a fairly rare occasion if you want to play smart. Most of the time you sneak around and take out enemies at close range, and when you finally have the chance to take out enemies at a distance you find yourself waiting forever for the noises you're supposed to use to mask your shots. What really broke me was some stupid bug that caused the character to day (as if from an explosion) whenever I uploaded a specific save which happened to be where I blew up a cannon (about half an hour earlier...). After that, I just couldn't be bothered to restart the level.

80/100 No matter if stealthy or loud, action packed or realistic: Sniper Elite gives you the options to customize its gameplay to your liking and conquer their open ended playgrounds any way you see fit. A blast in Singleplayer aswell as in Coop that keeps you coming back again and again.

Good Improvement from previous Sniper elite although there are little improvements that need to be fix (sniper elite 4 already assess this issue). it this game ease my boredom during quarantine.

A surprisingly good game. It scratched the itch I had to play a sniping game. It's incredibly atmospheric and I found myself getting lost in the game while many hours passed in real life. There are a few different approaches to the game and I think that makes it replayable. Being based in Africa makes a nice change from the endless number of WW2 games based in Europe that all look sort of the same. The story is also not bad. There were a few things I didn't like. There aren't a lot of weapons but I think the DLC fixes that. The handguns are all useless except the Welrod because the others alert enemies so you might as well use a sniper rifle. I started to get a little bored towards the end after figuring out the trick to killing most enemies but it was still ok. Overall, a very good game and thoroughly engrossing experience.

Play an hour as an underequipped close combat assassine to spend a minute shooting at stuff with a sniper rifle. Bugs have not been patched for years...

Pretty nice game, with missions being varied in setting and good sniping mechanics

This is a buggy piece of trash. The missions are stupid, the map design is bad, the difficulty settings are too broad and the best part of the game, the ballistics, is wasted by the wanna be assassin's creed mission design. Your character will regularly get hung up. You will be shot through walls by enemies. You will be forced to do stupid things you would never normally do just to make the game harder. You can't tab out without crashing the game. On the highest difficulty you cannot save and so each and every one of these shitty oversights will ruin you mission and force you to start again. This game is terrible.

[b]🏆Overall Rating: 8/10[/b] I don't know how to rate this game? The game is really impressive when it comes to killing enemies and that's all there is to it. A simple and boring loop: go to A, kill enemy B, go to C, kill enemy D.... I know as a sniper, you have to sneak around and kill enemies. But after dying a few times due to silly mistakes, you will see that it is a waste of time and unnecessary. [b]The best way to play is to get to the sniper nest as soon as possible, create chaos to attract enemies and kill them all at once.[/b] Anyway, this is a fun game, you can play in your free time without focusing on skills.

Still able to pop balls and see just how someone reacts to have a small arsenal of weapons explode in their face or just blast a SMG or trench gun and really see how much damage you can do to the axis powers invading Afrika. You also have a chance of shooting the funny moustache model himself. Great times all around.

This game has so many bad missions with really bad checkpoints, ive had to restart entire levels because it doesnt checkpoint at places you would expect it too, like a cutscene dividing a level in two.
