I was hoping for more of a trader game I guess. Long drives over the same roads got tedious and as much as I wanted to finish the game just to say I've done it and then move on, the story Line Quests (Barrow only) broke and no matter what I did I couldn't trigger it to go on. One of the few games I have abandoned and I am a persistent bugger.

I wanted really, really badly to love this game, it's got so much I like, but the actual implementation of them is just not fun.
Space - There are "debris fields" that the game tries to get you to respect but they were just tiny little annoyances I had to squint to see. I'm not doing that for hours at a time.
Survival - The rate at which you lose power, fuel, and armour is extremely fast. Instead of these systems being a small distraction from the main challenge of navigation, the entire reason you would virtually truck, they are a significant and constant annoyance as you trundle along dodging tiny bits of debris that could end your run and bankrupt you.

The mix between Truck Simulator and Space Sim is quite unique and cool.
Truck Sim-Fans will most likely enjoy.
+Beautiful graphics
+a variety of star systems with each their own theme
+oxygen system, climate control, power mangement are not very deep mechanics but a fun addition next to the driving
part
+ingame radio streaming while trucking
+had no bugs
+many custom setting let you adjust to your own playstile
+good npc voice over
=dialogs are mediocre. Sometimes good and fun, sometimes cringe
-quests & story are boring, often dont feel meaningful with exceptions.
- the nice looking sectors and space systems feel empty and there is nothing to do beside trucking freight and customizing
your truck
-there is not enough long term goals to work to
I have to say I enjoyed the game having a chill time trucking some goods around. But i was lacking the long term goals keeping me to play the game for longer. This is the game for you if you like the simulation of hauling freight while you explore new star systems. It is a slow down game, and not demanding at all. Its clearly an indi budget game but well executed.
I give it a good 6 of 10.

A lot of fun, if you're into that kind of thing. I enjoy ETS2, but it's fairly 1 dimensional; with this I can trade goods, haul trailers, smuggle contraband all whilst staying alive and keeping my space truck operational. Having story elements and voice acted missions to do is what sets this apart for me.

Pretty fun game, can be challenging and frustrating at times. Cool exploring and storylines, neat music streaming feature and good voice acting; other drivers' AI seem dim and you end up being at fault for collisions. Would be nice to have more customization for controls/bindings instead of having to look at and click everything. Things break a lot while you are driving so there's a lot of grinding to replace things

The concept is a fun idea and the visuals of the HUD look easy to learn and feels entertaining.
The controls for operating the consoles unlock as you progress. From using the talk radio to operating the controls.
My biggest complaint was a lack of real controls.
Mouse is used to look around in your seat. WASD pivots your Truck & Space/Shift operate Accelerate/Decelerate. I would've really liked having strafe controls to better control my rig. But it's live piloting a massive BLOCK that drifts lazily to one side, especially on a turn.
The camera controls for 3rd person view of yoru rig were no help either. I ended up going through the cycle twice to get a overhead view.
The controls overall for communications, attaching/detaching cargo, patching hull & Cruise Control were easy enough. But the controls over all made it difficult for me to really enjoy this game to the fullest.
As I said: i'd love to have a Strafe control and driving wouldn't feel like it's listing lazily to one end, causing me to collide with objects.
i think i'll wait for some patches before returning.

No real trucking. Just jump from map to map. Elite dangerous is a better option. I was kinda hoping for more trucking, less jumps. The whole field of rocks floating everywhere except the highways is a joke. The whole batteries and keeping track of them is just annoying. Dropping 1 from ankle height shouldn't damage it, otherwise there should be a crouch button or a nice way to place it. There needs to be nets and tie-downs for the truck, because there's no reason to have gravity on when you can save money. This game is an idea, but poorly executed. For something with the idea of trucking, it doesn't have much of driving and it's usually relaxing.
Why is there no way to charge batteries? Seriously, you need a free option. Otherwise you keep having the issue of having to restart your game. You can't win or even continue, only drain the account before passing out constantly.
Also, the story line either needs to be spaced out a bit or you need some serious rewards for completing their jobs.

One thing to note - this game 100% needs an epilepsy warning for the warp-gates. Beyond that, I love the game, so here's a longer dive to counter some of the negative reviews in the hopes of letting you, dear reader, actually learn a bit about the game for yourself:
This is a survival game - you have to salvage/buy batteries and circuit boards to power systems in your ship, just like how you have to pay for gas in order to drive. If you want a game where you sit around going from point A to point B with little/no thinking, play Euro/America Truck Sim. A large majority of the information you need to understand how your truck works is in the user manual or explained to you by other characters - and you can just as easily start figuring out information for yourself by simply looking around your cab. Do you need more sight while driving so you don't hit anything? If you try flicking the little < ARROW BUTTONS > on the screens, you would see that there is an upper camera (above your field of view) as well as a lower camera (to see under the front of your truck) - as well as left and right cameras to check both sides' clearance. Likewise, on your monitors, a light will flash red to let you know to tab over to that screen to figure out what the problem is. Sure, while I would like the option to strafe up/down/left/right (perhaps by toggle/hold on a button like Alt) - it feels strange to play a game about piloting a vessel in 0-g and not be able to strafe - but I can also recognize that it would change nothing in the grand scheme of things; there'd still be people complaining things like "why can't I strafe out of the way of debris while I'm driving 150???" You're not driving a fighter-jet, there's no evasive maneuvers - you're a Star-TRUCKER, you're driving something heavy. This is a slow-burn game, you have to think critically about what you're doing - if you're gonna drive reckless, don't be surprised when your truck takes a lot of damage even if you hit something small; it's the same principle as "bullets go through body armor even though they're small because they go fast" - a small rock would cause a lot of damage to your truck's hull if you're speeding. This is a slow-burn game, you have to think critically about what you're doing - if you're running low on power for one of your systems, try *looking around* to figure out why - the game isn't going to hold your hand and slap yellow paint on everything for you when there's a book that explains 90% of the game's mechanics right in front of you. I know, reading is really scary for gamers, but panels you can open literally glow when you hover over them to let you know you can interact with them - try looking at your dashboard; there's panels to the left and right of your seat for core power and mag-lock respectively. When a system runs out of battery power, a circuit board is no longer functional, or an air filter needs to be replaced - there's an icon directing you straight to the problem with a very noticable [🔧] - boom, congratulations, you now know for next time what to look out for and how to stop the problem before it becomes one, good job on putting that brainstem to use for once rather than having the game play itself for you. Sure, the game isn't "beginner friendly", I have over 50 hours playing and I still make mistakes - but you're not allowed to play for 10 minutes and then say "wah this is too difficult!" if you don't even try to learn in the first place.

I waited for quite some time, hoping that there's gonna be some significant updates to the game but to no avail.
There's still no real joystick support. The only controller support is the silly steam gamepad something that can't be mapped well to joystick. And that's the issue that made me uninstall the game a while back. It's way too clumsy to play it with mouse/keyboard.
The cockpit is ugly. And huge. Which makes the visibility really low. I hoped it would get addressed with new truck/cockpit update but I guess it's a bit too much for this game.
Well... I hoped for a space version of ETS2/ATS and this game is not what I hoped for.
It's not a bad game. It's very simple, console style.
I'm not sure how much does it cost at the moment. I'd say it's a $10 game when considering value for money ratio.

Really weak game. Should be called "star parker" because you don't really truck around and explore, but shoot from one station to the next. Shame because the mechanics are cool and it looks really nice. Needs much more trucking.
