Weak humor, uninspired, fun-less, poorly written with no replayability platformer. Cool graphics, but that's about it.

This game is excellent! I needed my indie fix after playing katana zero and I can tell you it scratches the itch and then some. Sometimes there is too much on the screen that it can be overwhelming but the replay loop of dying and trying again doesn't feel very punishing. 4.5/5, I wish the game had a bit more satisfying of an ending

Man this game is why I play games. Goofy, amazing combat, and challenging. Not punishingly challenging, though. Feels great to string along combos. Man, what a game. Great music too! Great atmosphere. Kudos to the devs.

I'm loving all the indie platformers being released. From Shovel Knight to Katana Zero, there are some amazing, fun ideas floating about. And Anomaly Agent sure adds its own flavour to the genre.
I think if there is any criticism here it would be towards the story. It's super weird, disjointed and kooky, which might turn some people off. I found it pretty fun however, as it doesn't take itself seriously at any point. Add in the funky sound and art design, it really creates this crazy, manic atmosphere that supports the gameplay. And the gameplay is the biggest strength here. The different combinations, parrying and dodging takes a little getting used to. But once you've got the hang of it, the tight controls, enemy variety and boss designs, really makes for a fun time.
I'm loving what the indie space is doing with this genre, as so many developers have been trying to put their own little spin on things. This here is no exception and is worth a crack if you're looking for another quality platformer. And for such a cheap price it is a steal!

Pretty well-made, but if you played Katana Zero back in the day, it feels like a slightly weaker rip-off. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say the game lacks authenticity, but it still offers a fun story and various enjoyable mechanics.
