This game is my perfect idea of a cozy evening. The art and music are so warm and lovely, the story is deliciously well written, and the characters are delightful. I'll be playing this one over and over again, for sure.

Edit: fixed spoiler text
Things I really liked: I like the vibes/setting/atmosphere, of course. It's a very cozy and interesting setting and the art is very beautiful. I liked the characters and their various personalities- they definitely have defining characteristics, but they don't feel like cardboard cutouts. The way they interact with each-other is entertaining. I really liked that it didn't feel like Harry Potter, I know that's where a lot of people's minds go if you say mage school but it definitely feels like it's own thing. I liked the unique outfits, both for characters and in shops for the player, and fact that you can play with your cat.
Lumi
is very dear to my autistic heart,
the petty rivalry between Ida and Cyrus
will always make me smile, and
Theo and Daisy are very sweet
and I liked hanging out with them. On the whole it's a very charming game.
Some things I feel like could maybe be changed:
I experienced a glitch in which, when looking at people's friendship profiles, the text overlapped with the icon images instead of pulling up it's own page thing. This made it somewhat hard to read.
I feel like the way your attributes affect your dialogue choices could be changed up a bit. I like the idea in theory, but in practice it can be frustrating when you are forced to say something lackluster or that you'd rather not say just because you lack a trait. This was a while back so it may have been changed but I remember having a conversation with
Theodore about how he was going to make a potion that would tell a person the color of their essence or something, but when the time finally came around,
due to not having the right traits my character was forced to
tell him they weren't interested in the potion and walk off.
I also think it would be nice if your dialogue affected the conversation more, the person you're talking to will respond to what you say but then just come to the same conclusion/finish their sentence the same way no matter what option you pick.
I also experienced some slightly confusing dialogue from
Idaline and Daisy, in which Ida introduced me to Daisy even though I already knew her and neither my character nor Daisy pointed this out. Then, after talking with Ida and seeing her and Daisy hang out multiple times, I later talked to Daisy and she was telling me that she planned on introducing herself to Ida later.
I think it would be nice if at least the cosmetic items like furniture and clothes were a bit cheaper. It's hard to afford them, especially if you're also buying potion ingredients or stuff like that. It would be very difficult to have the decked-out rooms shown in the preview thingy. Food also feels rather overpriced at times, especially early on when you make very little money per money-gaining action.
I think it would be cool if we could see/learn more about the magical animals mentioned
I am not trying to say that any of these things make it a bad game- it's a very nice game and I'm very fond of it. If these things don't get changed it will still be a good game, but I'm just mentioning these since I think I heard that the creator wants to have feedback on their game.

I REALLY want to like this game as I love time management trait games. I would recommend waiting for a future development once things are balanced and debugged before purchasing.
Balancing:
There are WAYYY too many traits to pick from which makes it extremely challenging to attend classes during 2 set times, talk to characters, enhance your traits, all while trying to scrape by earning SUPER small amounts of gold. To fix this, I think the developers could increase the amount of time the character has in a day, change the way NPC interactions occur (rather than choosing between interacting and class/work, choosing a specific class/work will trigger an event or increase the relationship with the NPC), or reduce the amount of options of traits/activities. The characters feel very static, this may be because I found myself trying to focus on increasing my skills and coin rather than focusing on the NPC story, they do not feel like a part of the story and rather an after thought. The gold earning is completely busted, you earn about 3-6 gold per work starting out, and it takes a lot of energy and an entire time segment to complete which makes buying some of the necessary items in the store, impossible. It would be great to earn more upright, decrease the prices of some of the required items or allow for a faster upgrade process in working. It would be really cool to see the decorations and outfits effect the sleep stats or make it so you can level up faster rather than being for aesthetics as they are incredibly expensive and there is no way to save and load after buying a useless item. Another common feature in this gameplay is that you allow users to debug by turning off time contingencies, adding character relationship levels, adding more gold, etc.
Bugs:
The tutorial is bugged so you are unable to learn the game through standard means, and must skip the tutorial in order to play. If you buy/create items as one character and then create a new character, the new character will carry over the items, some of which are still active i.e., broom whereas some are not i.e., dagger. It would be nice to be able to commit one character to buying the required items and then focus another character on developing relationships and skills.
Alternatives in the meantime: I am very hopeful in the direction this game can go, if you like this kind of content I would recommend you check out "I was a teenage exocolonist" or "growing up" which has a similar timemanagement, choices matter, trait tree game play!
