Fixing the "cannot convert given narrow string to wide string" problem: Download locale emulator here and install it. Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Sugar Sweet Temptation/ and use the emulator to run the app in Japanese. You're free to comment below if you have a problem for this error. It's a shame that I encountered this problem and therefore unable to earn achievements. If anyone has a better way to fix this, please let me know:) I really hope that the developers can patch this soon though. --- The storyline revolves around a pâtisserie, and although that's ordinary for a VN, the details to the plot are quite innovative(sorry, no spoilers). The translation is overall satisfactory. Only little misspellings or repeated words are found. I personally like the idea of removing all honorifics, which would've been clumsy to read as in other VNs. The art and CVs are just too cute to be real. Combined with the background music, all of the aesthetics really help to build up the relaxing and light-hearted atmosphere. And if you're wondering, an r18 patch is available but optional here. I wouldn't guarantee that everyone will enjoy it, but those are definitely the cunniest things I've ever seen😭😭 [Edited] After finishing Kori's and Chocolat's routes, I am greatly stunned by how the story picks up previous subtle foreshadowings, and how much sense it made. A clear logic flow is effectively presented within and across scenes. I wish I had paid more attention to the dialogues and maybe I would have discovered something new... All in all, this is a soothing VN that can bring joy to everyone's lives. With such adorable girls and délicieux cakes, what more could you ask for?
