I'm too broke to afford FBT. Thank you standable for fueling my degenerate VRChat activities

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Standable: Full Body Estimation , but it turned out to be way more entertaining than I thought. The idea is simple—you use steamvr with any trackers, (Standable auto startup when steamvr). Sounds easy, right? Nope. Turns out great and much easier, better looking and more convenient for PC users compared to competitors. Within minutes, I was questioning everything—am I leaning too far forward? Are my arms even symmetrical? Why does this “casual lean” look like I’m auditioning for a modern art exhibit? It’s equal parts challenging and hilarious, especially when you get friends involved. Watching someone else struggle to nail a pose is pure comedy gold. The motion tracking works pretty well overall, though there are occasional hiccups (like when it thinks your elbow is floating near your head or weird leg placement). Still, it’s forgiving enough to keep things fun. VR Is not something I usually play for hours on end, but it’s a great little distraction that doubles as a stealth workout. Bonus: You might accidentally improve your posture along the way. Worth a try if you want something quirky and unique!

an amazing addon for social vr, even if it isnt a replacement for fbt it is still amazing for the price. even if you get fbt in the future its still super usefull for if your trackers die or if you dont have many points of tracking

This app is pretty nice, finding the good options can be hard but it works well. The price is bit high but understandable. It would be even better with something like an air drag to casually change your height while seating or laying (for exemple vrchat, to actually sit on chairs and all)

I've been using standable since December of 2023 and holy macaronies it is amazing. It was only recently I got vive trackers and combined with this!? It's gods gift for playing VR. I'm not exactly planning on ending using this anytime soon considering how amazing it is.

I bought this because I don't like how my legs in vr games weren't even close to my footing outside of the game. I have a rift S, which doesn't have many options for fbt. Not to mention that I'd rather spend that money on a new headset if anything. I like Standable because it's a fairly simple and affordable way to instantly upgrade your headset's tracking. I wouldn't say it's good enough to be an replacement for fbt, but it is a very decent alternative. Some things I've observed that you may want to note: - Sometimes animations in the game get in the way of Standable. For example: When you use your joystick walk in VR chat, your body will snap to a different position while in the animation before reverting back to Standable's once finished. - Steps aren't registered in real time. It seems to happen after you transfer your weight. Although, there is some interpolation to ensure it isn't jarring. - You may have to tweak your Standable settings depending on the game you're playing and the avatar you're using. - I'd say the predictions are never perfect. It's more of a "close enough"-type thing. Then again, you're paying $20 for some software that makes predictions. It isn't meant to be perfect. TLDR: Software polishes your tracking. Not perfect but worth the price. Great if you don't want to spend the $$$ on fbt.

The leg movement while standing is kinda eh, but literally everything else is really good. I wish they had some sort of toggle for different types of estimation on the legs, to keep the current one for those whom prefer it and have different stuff for people whom are more mobile like me.
