Playtime: 690 minutes

Good game, for a small dev team. Taking into account the small team, things are very unbalanced: Story is fine, feels very piratey. I did not understand all of it, but it's a good enough backdrop to the game. Environments are quite stunning. Detailed and varied. City, jungle, caribbean island, forgotten temple... Impressive ! Gameplay is good also. Combat rules are interesting, some new stuff that is not so very usual, but felt nice. Level progression, although limited, feels satisfying. Crew management is also interesting. I liked the fact that you will lose people, but that doesn't prevent you from continuing. However, interface is catastrophic... Almost everything has to be done by mouse. And the mouse sensitivity is quite low, and can not be adjusted... I'm happy the game isn't longer than ~10h, my wrist starts hurting (and I usually play only 2h in one go...). And there could be more tooltips. Rules journal is very helpful, but in combat, it's a pain not to have a detailed tooltip over conditions or skills, so you remember what does what. Still, I'll be looking forward to Captain Flint's next adventure!
