I forgot how old this game is. the combat style was a pain to play again in 2025. But the story is really good! Giving it a thumbs up because of nostalgia and narrative. This might just be the type of game you need to play, because its old and unique

I bought this even though I also bought the Legendary Edition so I can play my favorite Mass Effect on an older PC, while I wait for my other one to be repaired. I thought that it should be fine since my PC meets the system requirements and this game is old. I was wrong. The EA launcher app made sure of that. When I click on the icon on my desktop, it launches the EA app. Fine, but it seems like the launcher itself rivals Steam in trying to make my slow PC crawl. It doesn't even automatically start the game. I have to click the icon within the useless app to wait another five minutes. It usually also doesn't get me to enjoy the game right away, since it usually can not connect to EA servers. And then just yesterday the game froze and restarted my computer. EA should be prosecuted for this malware disguised as a launcher.
April 6, 2025. Still not recommended. Only playing because i can't play it any other way.
