Difficult at first but you get the hang of it after 30-60 min. The DLC guide (free) is very useful as it tells you what exactly to do, helping you learn the basics of the game. Do note that I found this game after searching pogostuck (like Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy) and the game plays a little like it as you cannot die but can fall back down to another area.
