Would recommend it to others. I haven't played the Kill it With Fire series before, but this has been a great experience. As someone who has a bit of arachnophobia, it wasn't really terrifying at all. The way its done is do that its goofy, but still really fun and feels realistic enough when you attack C4 to a web spider.
The one thing that I don't like is its replayability. There are only 6 levels as of now and unless your doing spiderhunts with your friends, you can get through it all pretty quickly. I got 100% achievements in 30 hours, so I wish there was more.
But to the devs, thank you for this experience and I look forward to the next update!

Loved this one - compared to the first, it has a really neat story (fully voice acted!) by some real talent. Weeks after I think of the music and maps, especially the cyber-world's infectious tunes.
The gameplay is great with more spider-killing weaponry than I imagined possible; for completionists, this game will keep you busy for quite a while unlocking the laser sword, collecting alchemy recipes, etc. etc.
The side-challenges are great too, especially the "floor is lava" bits. Incinerating and minigunning spiders was way more fun than I expected.
And it's still coming out! The next level in hell looks really neat, even compared to the excellent cowboy level that came out just before on the roadmap. Give this one a shot.

KIWF2 is a game about an inter-dimensional war between spiders, humans, cactar, and many more, probably. In fact, your objective is erasing all of them, being the exterminator, accompanied by an AI: "Darwin," on a space ship called the HSF Vindicator, after you were taken up into it while hiding out on Earth.
Let's get the negatives out of the way first before I shpiel about the game being fun: 1.) Absolutely eviscerates your GPU. 2.) There's not nearly enough focus on the original concept in this game as the first, while I myself am I collectible-finding maniac like the devs, I wish each map had abundances of spider like the first!
Now, the good? Let's talk about the maps: Artois Manor, Arachnitopia, HEM Food & Furniture, the Cybercore, and Rancho Saguaro.
I love the atmosphere in each one, especially Artois Manor and Rancho. They all stick to their themes and there is a little bit of humor sprinkled in some of the maps, like Rancho with funny dialogue seasoned in, and Arachnitopia, where you can get GODZILLA BREATH and commit crimes inconceivable to all spider-kind.
Rancho has this really cool deputy challenge where you have to help their people fight off the Spider Gang in this tower-defense-esque, resource-management challenge where you have to use action points wisely.
Cybercore is a virtual pocket-dimension inside of Darwin's mind, you have to work through the different minigames to get to the end and uh.. work out Darwin's 'Daddy_Errors,' err ANYWAY... FYI there's a minigun in the HEM map so... have fun with that! (Don't overlook the hell-spawn the queen spiders make)
ALL of them have their own unique challenges, albeit easy most of the time, but that's not really the point.
Now, away from map focused details, there are tapes (which give insight into the lore of the map), equipment for mass destruction and genocide, and objectives which CAN extend into other maps. I loved every piece of equipment and each map. BTW, there's a lab with a project for a certain plasma sword you might like.
Did I mention there are potions you can brew in the Artois Manor, no? Well, you can, recipes are scattered throughout all the maps. All this and more to come.
That's all I have to say, thank you for reading.

Not really for me. Very guided. Go grab McGuffin.....bring to thing.....repeat. Very little bug killing. First one was better. This one is more puzzle-solving and gopher objectives than chaotic bug slaying and destruction. Environments are not nearly as destructible as you may have been led to believe. If you like useless puzzles, this is the game for you. If not, keep looking.
