Too short but with good settings adjustments and a basic leaderboard
What this game is: A hidden cats game, like others found on Steam. Short and sweet.
How does it work? It is a basic point and click game. You have to find all the cats hidden in a big Black & White picture with a few colour transitions.
How does it perform? Very easy to play. You click on each cat you find and its colour changes to blue. Some mice, birds and fishes are to be found. Some objects can be manipulated as well. All cats are easy to find.
The good points: Simple and relaxing game. You only need to sit, click, and relax. Getting the Achievements is very easy and there are no apparent bugs. Takes less than 75 MB on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC. Relaxing little music in the background with "meow" sounds every time you click on a new cat... Settings can be adjusted, and there is a decent zooming setting that can also be adjusted (!). There are some visual little surprises. There are Steam Trading Cards and easy Achievements. Can be played on the Steam Deck.
The bad points: The game is way too short. Replay value is limited. You can expect basically 15 to 20 minutes of entertainement out of it, more if you play against yourself and the timer. Fortunately there is a basic leaderboard where you play basically against yourself only (there is no option to put names on it, which is sad). Music is recycled from the similar games made by the same devs. This type of game is an easy scheme to sell cheap cats games on Steam with short playtime.
My take on this: I bought a bunch of these games in the past years, and at first I liked it as it is relaxing gaming. But now, you pay for short periods of gaming in a repetitive concept with little value added gameplay. This concept would be better with some more levels and some variations of the main gameplay and some more difficulty. If you want easy achievements and some Steam Trading Cards, this is the thing. If you want to enjoy a well built and reasonably entertaining game that can last more than 15 to 20 minutes, this is not it. However, I will give a barely positive review based on the presence of a basic leaderboard that provide some replay value, and the quality of settings adjustments. Buy only when for sale on a good discount.

I love these style of games but some are great and others not so much. Thankfully this series of games is the former, its simple yet effective, and the art style is great as well. If you like finding cats then this game is for you, more so if you have an affinity with Bali.
