i've completed this game over 14 times on multiple platforms and here i am downloading it again. one of the most epic games!

its metal gear so its Tactical Espionage Action... But remove the Tactical Espionage because this shit is only the amazing and mind numbing action that comes from a hack and slash. The only negative is that its way too short.

Pretty good game, but the port needs updating. I could only get it working in a 1080p window in the middle of my screen. No luck with the mods, but they seem to work for some. I'm not demanding a remaster, but if a company continues to sell a game, they should be responsible for basic functionality on modern hardware.

if you are playing this, dont play it seriously. its an awesome game and it is really fun to use the blade mode.

Metal Gear Rising is the only game where defeating a French pole-dancing war criminal, a magnetic nihilist, a fat man and a Brazilian Samurai- is just the warm-up for the U.S. Senator. 10/10.

All killer no filler. Possibly the most enjoyable game out there. There's not a single dull moment, the combat is so refreshing both for its time and today's gaming landscape, the skill floor is low enough to get anyone playing and having a blast and a skill ceiling that rivals that of Ninja Gaiden so you can sink endless hours and none of them will feel wasted or a chore. The story while known for "the memes..." is quite decent, all characters, cutscenes and dialogues are as enjoyable as the gameplay itself. The only downside of this game is that there's no more of it. Definitely a purchase no one will regret.
