It’s a lighthearted, unapologetically fun experience that doesn’t shy away from its 'creative inspirations'. While it may seem like a playful time-waster at first, most of its challenges can be overcome with one simple mindset: just get better—and better at ignoring all the unnecessary noise. Leaderboards? Ignore them. Random stutters? Time to upgrade your PC. Crashes? Consider it a friendly nudge to step outside and touch some grass.

it's decent but the way things are balanced is not that great, if we compare the games wave/enemy scaling to more bigger games like ror2/vampire hunters its not that great the enemy waves in this game are constant there is no "spike" in its scaling or the constant pressure those game put you in, as for the games randomness there isn't a lot since the only random are skills and what's inside the chest, chest location altar locations are not random. overall just a basic game

Fun but kinda short without a huge amount of meta progression, I got about 15h out of it as of Feb 2025. Checks off the $1/h metric some people have and I'd say it was a strong burn during that time, would recommend in that aspect if you like survivor style games. I could probably get another 5-10h but that would be just jumping through hoops for achievements or unlocking some extra things I'm not really interested in. Will probably play a bit more regardless since some of the modes are still fun even if there's nothing to gain from it. Pros: - 10 to 15m round times typically, feels good - some really fun combos once you unlock characters and start using double abilities - some fun challenges and interesting modes - graphics are good, performance is great, no technical issues - haven't tried it but multiplayer is almost always a plus - can succeed most runs once you get the mechanics down - tag system on all weapons/skills which makes it easy to learn what works with what Cons: - not a lot of meta progression aside from unlocking characters, maps, then some items/skills - can't disable unlocked items from appearing - items aren't very descriptive, you need to learn a few things from trial/error - fairly large gap between the best options and the worst There is a workshop but it's somewhat bare bones without much adding to the game quite yet. Biggest thing I would want to see is another meta progression method with small boosts to RNG/stats/whatever so there's something else to work on. Still, not every game needs to last forever and overall I've had fun.

it has some potential but the game is more broken the more you want to enjoy it, or if you think your getting any better. The screen splash makes you wonder what to do next at the big moments? ya another impulse buy. Have fun!

different from most of these games, and with a working workshop ? who knows what it might become. the maze-like part of it is the biggest difference, but it`s also go lots of different builds to unlock and play with. and you can control the order of the mini-bosses to encounter. maybe 4 stars out of 5 ?

imma be honest. Game is not that bad, but once you get how the game works it is extremaly easy to get a build so strong that it makes the game boring. weapon rarity feels like an incredibly dumb mechanic to have in this type of game, as i would just straight up remove it and get a different method of using weapons. just tried the endless casual mode and it feels EXTREMALY unrewarding... you get at a point where there are no more bosses to fight, and you can just kill enemies by attacking mindlessly while moving between them, not even having to kite, as enemies wont attack you if you go against them in a horde since they seem to have a requirement of standing next to you for a certain amount of time before they can attack you. the only difficulty that i encountered was enemies just becoming painfully tanky, as i reached a point where i would be dealing 2k dmg as soon as anything on my screen just barely moved, piling up millions of damage, being able to stand still as some enemies just didn't even attack me for some reason, and took 5-6 minutes to kill. Curses seem to be the typical you get a buff and something else gets debuffed, but the debuff is so small, that you might aswell take it without any risk. also an extra thing wich really isn't an issue but its annoying... when doing the challenge to unlock the wheelchair, after you select a power up, your character will initiate an attack completaly killing your run for the challenge... atleast that would be nice to change for people wanting to unlock everything.

Tl;dr: Game has a lot of potential but is pretty rough and unpolished as is, but worth to keep an eye on as updates and QoL changes come. I cannot recommend the game for its full price, there are just other similar titles that does better for same/cheaper price. Pros: - Tons of potential, very high diversity gameplay if balance is done right. - Strong co-op potential with abilities and skills that works on allies. - Visual art style is actually pretty solid. - Lots of references to other popular games and franchises like League of Legends, Naruto, World of Warcraft, etc. (it's a bit concerning that they might even get sued for copyright though.) Cons: - All of the game eventually boils down to speedrunning for leaderboard (which is filled of filthy cheaters) rather than actual challenging gameplay with increased difficulty. - Game gets boring real fast after you've figured out the OP builds. Many others are just either feel bad to play or highly unviable. A mix of questionable abilities and balance problems. - Lack of map diversity. Maps also feel pretty small and boring once you get used to the game a bit. - Many weapons actively works against you, making it hard to even move around properly. The slow guns feel awful to play. A mix of visual and gameplay problem. - Lots of localization errors and typos.
