I'll be honest, this is a tepid thumbs up.
Everything works, but there really isn't anything exciting here.
It's missing a lot of basic features I have come to expect from a TD game, no target prioritizing, no tactical options, no strategic upgrades, zero fluff, no way to speed up the game.
Also nothing in the way of pathing.
But the assets are cute, and there are a few different tower types, even if upgrades are a boring straight three.
I was thinking it might be a good option for kids, a way to get into the genre. And as I said, the cats are cute.
One thumb up, I think I paid 99cents, that's about right.
ADDENDUM: 98 minutes from start to sick of it. It does get pretty hard, but bonus, you don't have to defeat a level to get the next one. While on that, only 12 levels.
