game is good , wen you get the correct cards and boons you become like a freaking death engine. it is a combination of StS deckbuilding with hades boon system needs a bit of streamlining since it is in early access but its very nice. has nice variety and different characters .

The game is personally not for me, I wasn't hooked after my first game but if you like Slay The Spire, this is a decent game that emulates it without just being a shitty carbon copy. The Sound Mixing needs A LOT of work in places, even with the volume as low as I possibly could the music and sound effects were way too loud here and there. The worst offender though and why I refunded, is the UI. It's a mess, the chosen font is weird and unappealing, the way some of the boons/cards are written left me confused as to what they were trying to say, whether because of errors in the text or in the wording. If you click on a node and accidently double click, you better hope wherever you clicked didn't have an option behind because that will register it as a choice, I bought two cards in a shop by accident like that. Also, in a fight the clicking and dragging felt unresponsive at times. But if they can fix all of these issues, I would happily buy the game again once it's fully finished and out of Early Access to give it another go, I think it's got a lot of potential and for the 10 bucks it currently costs? I'd say it's worth the try at least.

Nice Slay the Spire interpretation. Desperetly needs Progression between Runs and Boon balancing !!

As a deck-building enthusiast, I found the game's variety quite satisfying. The uniqueness of the characters and the diversity of combos are well-executed. The zodiac theme is well-integrated into the genre, and the boon system fits seamlessly. Despite being in an early stage, the game shows great promise.

So far really enjoying this game, well worth the price as a little rouge-like deck builder game. Reminds me of a lesser slay the spire. However, do not take this game for granted, it is a great time killer and if you build the characters just right you can clear all the acts pretty easily. Some of the negative reviews if not all of them are a joke and are whiny about some things that just does not matter and have only played the game for one or two runs, the game is in early release and of course it may need updates but come on, if you really want to make a difference take your "suggestions" to their discord, they are very accepting of players feedback. I love the concept of using the zodiacs as the theme for them game really interesting. I am looking forward to seeing what this game will become, I would like to place this at the top beside slay the spire on my list when it does. Keep up the good work devs!

Moon's Creed is a very solid indie game that takes a lot of inspiration from Slay the Spire, but with an astrology twist. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why this game is in early access outside of the bugs, of which the developer has been extremely swift in patching. The visual design could use some polish, but other than that the game is honestly extremely fun and well designed. I can't really think of anything to criticize.

Moon, stars and constellations...oh my ♡♡♡ Quite literally 'Slay the Spire' astrology style. I am a fan of that kinda stuff, so I am really enjoying this game. My favourite part so far is playing around with the different characters and the astrology sign perks. You get to choose what perk you want to embody for your run. Those range from things like additional health, shields, damage, applying thorns etc. Obviously, some work better with certain characters but half the fun is figuring out what works for you. There are 12 different astrology signs, so there are 12 different variations you can play around with. I think that is pretty cool personally. I feel like it offers so much variation and opportunity for runs to feel different depending on what build you want. I like how they just didn't stick the astrology theme in there for looks alone but they actually integrated astrological lore, themes and characteristic qualities of each sign to shape the experience. The map sticks with the astro theme but plays out similarly to 'Slay the Spire'. The shop looks the EXACT same >.> There doesn't seem to be any trinkets but you get buffs/boons by visiting certain points or beating elites. There are 'chaos' points which offer a challenge. You are inflicted with a negative buff for a couple turns but then you get a positive effect which offers a twist on things. They can stack, so I find that sometimes overwhelming and confusing. The character descriptions and writing in general is creatively done but I wish they offered some sort of preview of what abilities or style of combat cards were in the deck. I have no idea what the character has to offer upon selecting it. Plays decent for EA. Ran into some bugs, but nothing crazy. It is not as polished as 'Slay the Spire' but I think that will come. There is enough variation here to set it apart despite the similarities. One could probably nit pick at things like some characters and builds being too OP but all I care about is having fun honestly. So it is a thumbs up in my books. Looking forward to see where it goes.

There are some seeds of good ideas here but generally mechanics feel under-cooked. To give an example on my first run I started with a modifier which increases my strength for getting exact kills, which I thought was a nice reward at first but then realised that all of the cards that would be interesting with strength are arbitrarily disabled from strength scaling. No indication of this on the card, only discover this by mousing over the card and reading a tooltip. Another thing I found confusing is I kept seeing cards that say they synergise with "guns" but I did not see a single card that was a gun. Another issue was the chaos shop which gives you a temporary negative modifer in exchange for a positive one after it wears off - but the issue was I read the modifiers and found them so laughably unappealing that it wasn't even a consideration. A more personal nitpick is I really dislike the way the music is handled. It changes too often and feels jarring. It shouldn't change for every event or fight, music changes should be used as a device to communicate that something is changing or something impactful is happening. Decisions like this can elevate games from average to amazing - something to think about. All in all, this game might be salvagable but there is a long way to go. Perhaps wait for some updates unless you are desperate for something new and happy to wade through some clunkyness.
