my favorite part of this mind numbingly bad progression grind, is when all my progress was deleted after 7 hours of play.

This has potential, but is in an early stage. You can change settings like music/sound and resolution, but the game won't remember your changes. Similarly, the game won't save your unlocked "achievements" (not steam achievements - more like progress unlocks that give you buffs), characters and weapons after you exit.
The revolver's the only useful weapon I've come across so far, the mini-gun is too low damage and too long reload to be worth using, and accidentally taking the ability I thought I'd misread as "Reload Cancer" - but then turned out to actually be called "Reload Cancer", maybe mistranslated "cancel"?- which gives you a chance to reload whenever you kill something - makes it actually useless. A free reload with no reload time on a kill would be great. A lengthy reload at random on a kill just makes it difficult to handle a large horde of enemies.
It's hard to recommend at this early stage. I'm not going to refund it, and I'm probably going to put some more time into it.
Give it some balance patches and when some of the features (settings, progress saving) actually work, I look forward to changing my opinion.
