This game changed me as a person. All of my time in this game is the span of a singular game. I cannot describe the life I would have had if this game didn't sucker punch me into a spiraling state of nihilism. Would recommend for playing with people you either really like or really hate. 9.5/10

A must play for groups of 3-4 friends willing to dedicate their time to a weekly session of some of the most brutal dice rolling I've experienced. That being said, it's essentially the same game it's been since the ps2, and has a lot of outdated design decisions that make me grit my teeth. Still easily worth playing though! Try to pick it up around $15 or less if possible.

I've been playing since the PS2 and Wii versions, and I own a physical copy of each version. u jelly? >:)
My Wii version's gallery is nearly complete too, and hopefully soon to be complete on steam too.
I've made my own dungeon maps on paper (because none but 2 existed online) and poured far more hours into this game than Steam will ever account for, LMAO
Speaking of those maps- I started, but admittedly never finished, making them into digital versions, and I should really get on that for future campaigns with friends, haha!

the famous RPG board game party game finally comes to steam. roll your spinner, fight enemies and conquer more cities than your opponents. decently fun, although it is a shame that the RNG is rather shallow. recommended on sale.

I need to be ever so clear, Dokapon is a unique and great experience.
Factually it's a horrible fucking game. Like the mechanics will feel fine in story mode for the first quarter-half of the game. The rest it is progressively becoming a slog.
So many backwards mechanics, like the fact on some level the game encourages fighting underleveled enemies to grind job levels because for some reason job XP is gained per fight and regular XP is like every other games.
As this map gets larger the game itself drags because ultimately you're stuck with a single spinner for the entirety unless you're treating spinner items like the lifeblood they are and hoarding them from shops. Combine this with the mechanics for entering other areas.
Then there's the fact that you could do just about nothing for a large faction of the game and have lost basically nothing because there are so many mechanics that discourage actively progressing the game, and others which make most of the things you're interacting with surface level and only matter in the final quarter.
Not to mention power creep between different players

Nostalgia overload, I came back to early 2010's playing this game!
Wait for a sale, however, the regular price is too much for a board game.

I've played the game before on ps2. Decided to get on steam to play online. This game is not worth 50 dollars. Too buggy. Every time I play the game it will freeze the screen in the game after a while. Sound is still working, but this is really not worth playing. Every time it happens I have to reset the game and load up the latest file. I tried running game in windowed mode and I have updated my drivers. This game is bugged. Wait until the game is fixed on steam.
