Can't navigate on menus with controller (rog ally). May be decent for it's price if fixed.

Fun game and unassuming game. Can get addictive quite fast.
Recommended if you like indie games and auto-shooters.

Fun survivors-like game with more fast-paced mechanics and more demanding difficulty than others in the genre. Runs well on the steam deck and is a nice one to do a few quick runs while on the go!
Controllers are currently not natively supported, so you have to configure it on the steam input settings to emulate mouse and keyboard, I hope the devs address that in a patch!

Fun survivorlike, still figuring out how all the mechanics work. I do wish the game was tutorialized a bit better, but given how attentive the devs have been with technical fixes, I see it getting ironed out with time. Definitely worth the price if your looking to take a break from your current survivor obsession.

Fun little game! It was a little frustrating at first cause it was my first "survivorlike" but after you get the hang of it, it can get pretty addicting.
Some feedback:
- Sometimes items spawn in the water and I can't get to them
- Trees block your vision and it can get annoying when you can't tell what item is behind a tree
- UI elements are small and hard to see on my 4k monitor, would be nice to have a scaling option
- Gun drops from enemies don't seem to be bound by the gun limit, not sure if intended but you can get pretty OP with this

PRO - immediate fun as typical for the genre / various game modes are ok
NEUTRAL - some obscure mechanics / builds dont feel that different one from another / no meta progression
CONS - overpriced for the offer / full controller support is kinda broken / weapons variety is not that great and even the progression and improvement of the various guns never reaches a satisfing point (no max level ? no final evolution or whatsoever unfortuantely ) / no real end level boss
Unrelaxing Quacks is not a bad game but unfortunately it does not shine on any aspect compared to others in the genre , and so it gets a little boring too fast and will not be the one to spend a lot of hours in it for sure
Considering it costs more than 5 cash I would say you should really spend your money elsewhere and pick up a better one with ease and you will get simply much more fun

Still not fixed on steam deck. Reported the issue back when the game released, the dev confirmed they have been able to reproduce the issue on a steam deck oled, and a fix is coming. Nothing have happened since then.
Shame, it would have been a nice showcase for games made in rust.

Fun game! The couple times I ascended the power curve it felt really good. Some notes:
- I haven't figured out what the timer is or why I would want it to go up or down
- Items get hidden behind trees and you can't tell what they are before picking them up
- I'm a duck, why can't I swim?
- Can't adjust the volume in-game, had to do it in OS audio settings

Fun little bullet heaven/survivors-like game. Not the most polished in the genre but it has some unique mechanics, like recovering corpses and being able to use their builds in future runs (for a price).
I found out about the game from the dev's blog post about game dev in Rust. It's a good read if you're into technical stuff: https://loglog.games/blog/leaving-rust-gamedev/
Notes:
- Guns feel and sound good.
- Lots of action on screen. The corruption mechanic was a nice surprise.
- Leaving powerups on the ground for later and then chaining them together is cool. The invincibility effect is hard to see though.
- A lot of stats and numbers are hidden from the player (e.g. handgun damage up, attack speed up, health regeneration, berserk on max health). There's no list of stats on the pause menu or for items/upgrades.
- Some upgrades seem underwhelming (e.g. you can use the boat for free, dash upgrades when you don't have the dash ability, there's an upgrade that increases the timer and an upgrade that decreases the timer)
- The blood splatters and corpses are nice, but I feel like there could be a stronger effect on the projectile hitting the enemy.
- The damage numbers (along with a lot of other UI elements) don't scale with higher resolutions and are hard to see.
- I couldn't figure out how to dash for a while (right click).
- No controller support and there doesn't seem to be input remapping.
- Music: There's one looping track. I don't mind because I usually mute the music and listen to something else while playing these kinds of games.
- Movement: The player can get stuck on objects, i.e. you're moving diagonally into a wall but your entire movement gets cancelled instead of just the part going into the wall.
- Powerups and events can spawn in the water and you can't get to them. So can enemy drops but you can use the magnet to get them.
- Money is a little weird. There aren't a lot of opportunities to spend money and the primary use late game seems to be the money shield item.
