Wanted to like this game but eventually the zombies just get ridiculous and it gets old quick having to kill zombies after every shot

There is some fun to be had with Golf VS Zombies but I can't recommend it.
At its core this is an 18 hole golf game where after every drive you, you must golf your way out of zombie attacks. That much is a novel idea, works well enough, and can be fun. Just about every other part of this game is really rough around the edges. My biggest issues were the currency system (used for buying new courses, absolutely essential permanent upgrades, cosmetics, and limited use powerups) being INSANELY grindy for a game with such a short runtime forcing you to replay courses, the golfing camera angle frequently making you make educated guesses about what you're aiming at, and putting always being an entirely flat afterthought of a mechanic.
